The only honest man Wall Street has ever seen.
ОтветитьStocks and equities at least I think is the way to go. So long as you’re well diversified across asset classes and don’t have too much of your total portfolio in any one thing you’re never going broke. You may take a big haircut if you have a recession like 2008 but if you’re getting paid dividends just re-invest them and you’ll be wealthier than you were before in 3 to 5 years time. It’s a game of the long haul.
ОтветитьThe brilliant and kind John Bogle, the only advisor every investor ever needs.
ОтветитьLol im 100% in gold its perfect 0 risk great upside after comex price fixing gets blown up. The Professor
Ответить90% stocks/etf. 10% crypto😅
ОтветитьI agree with JB about rebalancing. Why sell your best performers to buy more of your worst? Doesn't make sense, unless you're very sure of market timing/direction. Which almost no one is.
ОтветитьDivided stocks 30% 15% large cap growth stocks then 5 % small cap high risk stock in crypto 5% 10% REIT s. 35% mutual funds . Some art and some gold and silver coins are a fractional percent
ОтветитьFORGET GENIUS, HE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING, IN THE WORLD OF SHARKS.
ОтветитьAnother great content. You and Gary Joe Wilde are highly recommendable investing experts every investor who wants to get rich investing must know or work with Unfortunately, don't know why Gary deleted his video channels. He is very advanced and experienced in the field.
ОтветитьSummary?
Ответить80% stocks, 10% cash, 5% gold and silver , 5% crypto
ОтветитьI find myself at a crossroads, uncertain whether to liquidate my $150,000 stock portfolio. I'm seeking advice on the best strategy to capitalize on this current market.
ОтветитьBefore I retired 3years ago I challenged myself to put away 50% of my monthly income into stocks which is quite easy since I lived frugal without debt.I work as an account executive, and I make over $200,800.$100,000 goes into dividends and the other $100,000 goes to my living expenses, I am seeing improvements in my portfolio, dividends look certain, but I have to attribute this to only guidance of a licensed wealth strategist who allocates funds to a plenitude of assets, I have to stay discipline and remember that I am in this for a long term, recently got my first property and looking forward to get another soon.good luck everyone and thanks for the wonderful video
ОтветитьGod bless John Bogle truly a decent human being who cared about the little guy
ОтветитьWell, i do have my reservations about the economic crisis. Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, My $650K portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my ROI before retirement will be highly appreciated.
ОтветитьVUSA IS THE ONLY WAY FORWARD TO MAKE MONEY
Ответить80/20. Also Soc Sec is a huge part of the 20%. Most people Soc Sec is 500k if you do the math for 20yrs. Stay invested.
ОтветитьI was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement. I'm seeking to invest $200K across markets but don't know where to start.
ОтветитьNot financial advice, I have a two fund portfolio, VT and BNDW. DONE! Thank you Mr. Bogle.
ОтветитьMaking money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investments aren't well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.. well at least my advisor does lol.
ОтветитьAs an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I do have about $150k amount of capital to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.
ОтветитьI just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.
ОтветитьI don't like bonds. I am equity/cash. Easier to control,
ОтветитьJack was pivotal in educating the average person on investing. Before then it was the insiders club to older, educated stock brokers. Many thanks to him. ❤
ОтветитьGood information.
Ответить5% gold, what the point? For most people they hold gold certificates that even if they haven't been double sold, may not be able to be converted into another country's currency if ours tanks. Moreover, how long can you live off 5%
ОтветитьGold and Bitcoin are money, not an "investment." Real money can't be inflated into nothingness by central governments. Stocks and bonds have counterparty risk. Real money does not.
Ответить"Maybe I am right, maybe I am wrong." Love this guy! He covers himself.
Ответить10 - 20% Cash, 30 - 40% Investment grade Bonds, & 50% Total Stock. Forget about it. Take 4 - 6% per month as a paycheck. Brilliant video.
ОтветитьStill sharper than Biden.
ОтветитьHow many scammers in this comments section? Crazy.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing voice he had. Thanks for the wisdom, Jack.
Ответить5% emerging market index and 5% in gold. Even John Bogle recommends gold in the investing portfolio. Others recommend 25%. Interesting views.
ОтветитьWake up. Dow was 18 ounces of gold in 1929 and still is in 2022. Zero gain. All just a fraudulent bank heist transfer of wealth.
ОтветитьKeep it simple, stop trying to beat the market. You can make some good money finishing 2nd or 3rd.
ОтветитьI just turned 65, and now retired. When I hit 65, I now have a 50/50 portfolio. I agree that it completely defends on your risk!! I don't like too much risk, and now I am comfortable. It's always a personal matter!! Great video !!!!
ОтветитьThe problem I have is with my seven figure portfolio. As much as I try to keep it simple it just seems to get unwieldy. I'd like to set it and forget it but the market has other plans. What's a fella' to do? PS: I have been retired for 11 years and will be 76 this year.
ОтветитьAndrew Lo, amazing professor
ОтветитьI'm not rich, and I'm ready to take more risk. So I'm 86% stocks in my mid forties, 3% bonds, 2%gold, 3%bitcoin, 5% cash (but it's my emergency fund), 1% commodities. I haven't decided yet if I'll increase bonds, it depends what happens in the next years (healthwise, jobwise, market returnwise). I'm not contributing anymore at this point because of health problems, but it might change.
ОтветитьI was adviced to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since they can protect my portfolio for retirement of about $170k. I need advice: Do I keep contributing to my portfolio in this unstable market or do I look into alternative sectors?
Ответитьjust remember you are going to die one day. plan for 120 year lifespan. just numbers on a screen.
ОтветитьEvery week I buy more of whatever is the lowest percentage of my portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Please what could be my safest buys with $400k to outperform the market in 2024?
ОтветитьHoly cow this guy is sharp. Close my eyes and I hear a 45 yr old exec
ОтветитьWhy are people calling him Jack and John?
ОтветитьI like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or whenever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income
ОтветитьThe fake scammers are everywhere they normally start with I invested in ** and I have made ** then another scammer who connected to this scammer will say how did you do that, the reply is normally oh I have this wealth manager and he or she brilliant then a name comes out, keep reporting and spotting these fake scammers
ОтветитьMy portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I'm currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now.
