Renderhook is by far the best. Keeps the visual style, but the lighting is just more realistic and all the post processing really brings it to more modern standards. DirectX 2.0 tries too hard to be overly realistic, but the game's geometry really holds it back from looking right.

The one thing I can never get over when it comes to GTA San Andreas is the render distance. The draw distance just takes you out of the immersion every time something else pops in. I know people are able to just ignore it and just kind of play the game for what it is, but I can’t do it, bro completely ruined the game for me.
