Died and went to heaven!
ОтветитьAmazing vid. 037 made you feel it. The raw essence of speed…and what could possibly lie ahead. Thrilling!
ОтветитьI probably watch this video once a year, maybe twice, since it came out.
ОтветитьWhy test drive at such a dangerous place? One wrong move and you're fking flying off the high cliff and you DIE!
ОтветитьIn the beginning of the video you can hear "neljä pulloo pöydässä.. and something" That's "there was four bottles on the table.." maybe memorising some night from Groub-B times 😂
ОтветитьIts funny how they made Juha who drove for peugeot at the time drive the delta s4
ОтветитьThe acceleration of that experimental carbon car as it flies away from the camera...
ОтветитьThank you Chris... Your passion is contagious! 👍❤💪
ОтветитьThis is why world class rally drivers make the best sports car drivers. I'd don't think Lewis Hamilton would/could do this. However, I'd love to be proved wrong.
ОтветитьSome of the best car /rally footage ever ,why have the Italians stopped doing these cars
ОтветитьI can’t believe I first watched this video 10 years ago. It’s still awesome and every once in a while I come back and watch it just to enjoy the car porn. Life has changed a lot since this video launched and I’m honestly not nearly as passionate or enthusiastic about cars as I was then, but this video still hits all those tinglys for me.
ОтветитьEvery once and a while I come back to watch this too. it's the stuff real car guys like Chris and the rest of us adore. He goes to a tire launch press event that is frankly kind of beneith him journalism-wise. he goes because the cars are ledgendary, and so too the drivers. Who could pass up that opportunity? I love that part where he does his journaistic duty and starts flogging how good the tires are, even the driver has a laugh at how disingenuous it is, lol.
Ответить"Your face speak!" But seriously I love rewatching this video!
Ответитьbecause the weight is important 😂
ОтветитьRewatching this connected to my car speakers absolutely music to my ears full blast
ОтветитьCan't wait for race for Glory
ОтветитьNever get tired of this
ОтветитьMarkku Alén 86 true champion... always cheered for him... Respect to Juha and Paolo what a blast
ОтветитьThe s4. 500 hp yes aaaand 1.8 inline 4 engine :D. Lancia + Abarth magic. That twin charged engine is one of the best of rally history.
ОтветитьAhhh the engine in that Stratos on a trailing throttle
ОтветитьMatey boy flailing his arms around wifh his mouth open, tongue poking out and RNIB spec glasses would have made me shit my pants, too, Chris!
Ответитьlol finnish in the background
ОтветитьTrop emblématique Lancia, quelle passé et quelle marque, dommage que Fiat ont abandonné cet marque, aujourd'hui si elle existe comme en passé, elle douves être assis du côté Ferrari
ОтветитьPaulo in the 037 didn't even bother doing up his helmet strap. Either he is supremely confident in his own abilities (with clear justification) or he knows that if he goes off at Vmax it isnt going to help him much. A superb video. Great cars and great drivers. This video doesn't get old. Lancias rock!
ОтветитьWRXは世界ラリーの名車と比べても引けをとらない
ОтветитьWhen i was 7 in 1977 my dad , was the managing director of Public Relations at Pirelli in England. Dad took me up to Silverstone where there was some rally car show on .
He fixed me up with a ride in the Alitalia Stratos around the track , driven by the man himself ... Sandro Munari!
I was only 7 so i don't remember many details but i haven't forgotten about that little adventure ever since. Thanks for this video ...thanks Daddy..Rest in peace❤
I don't think Ive seen anyone make a turtle face when they're concentrating 😂
Ответитьfucken lovleh
Ответить🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьLove all these cars
ОтветитьThe Italian champion doesn’t even bother to buckle his helmet, I guess he’s only driving at 8 tenths so no big deal…
ОтветитьLove that it’s two of my driving heroes, and soon to be a third lol.
ОтветитьWow esos si que son pilotos como conducia el del delta s4 pegado al borde de la carretera.
Ответить"That was fast........that was fast.....that was fast!"
ОтветитьYou think you can drive, then you go in a rally car with someone who can actually drive...and you say thank you alot.
ОтветитьWhat's particularly impressive is that when Chris's foot is frantically passenger braking, Paolo hasn't even bothered doing up his helmet. "ehhhhhh, we no crash, is easy".
ОтветитьThis is one of the best Chris Harris films.
He was always a legend.
ОтветитьI'm dealing with an 04 grand marquis didn't even go get the puller set from the shelf big crow bar but it's not a bolt in try crow bar first easy if no go. It's gonna be FSU time. F$@k s=!t up
Ответить'Quite alarming actually!' One of the most memorable lines ever.
ОтветитьFrancois Delecour and this legend video are the one's I always return to. Great stuff. Dreams are made of this for me : )
ОтветитьAbsolutely one of my favorite videos of all times in the history of the internet. Although American from the era of these cars, all I dreamed of was riding like Chris in these cars when I was in my teens and bought my first Fiat x1/9 and then Fiat 124 Spider. The Stratos is a v6 Ferrari Dino engine, the 037 & Delta both use blown and dbl-blown Lampredi inline 4 twincam engines. What a thrill.
ОтветитьBack when chris Harris was still normal
ОтветитьWow. The delta s4. What a beautiful car.
And the 0-37 ..fuck me, what a car to drive. The sounds from that engine. The acceleration and handling looks epic
The "dear God" moment...Did Chris know it was one of the most famous rally quotes ever recorded?
If only Ari Vatanen was driving. 😂
All 3 Ikons of Rally are extrodinary…. but the Noise of the 037 is like attacking bees with NOS-injection ❤❤❤
Ответить"Fuck me that was close"
👍
I’ve seen this so many times over the years. I always smile, living vicariously through Chris. Those ride alongs must’ve been absolutely mental!
