A bit of advice. Unless you are good and consistent on cleaning out the chimney, I wouldn’t burn pine wood in the fireplace. The pitch builds up really quickly, thus resulting in a chimney fire. My dad learned that the hard way. It’s a good thing that he recognized the roaring sound coming from the chimney or else he would’ve lost the house. He still burned it, but he had the chimney cleaned regularly after that.

Some mushrooms, chestnuts, apples and squash would make for some great ingredients in a Fall recipe of some kind. I enjoyed the video segment the Bea did to show herself making the apple crisp. Maybe she will show herself doing another cooking segment and make something with these fall ingredients ?

here in France you can take the mushrooms to the chemist and they will tell you if they are edible or not, good idea for most people just because they smell like mushrooms doesn't mean they are edible.

This summer our neighbor had a very large dead cottonwood tree cut down. One guy climbed all the way to the top and cut it down limb by limb (supported by a ground crew). Such talent and bravery!
