in france we change the size of the brakes and the car is not road legal ...

There was a guy in high school with me that had an old 1963-68 Ford or Doge van that was cut down to about this size. He installed a large black muffler extension pipe on the back so when the front wheels left the ground the van would only lift a couple 2-3 feet before dragging the exhaust pipe which kept it from falling back too far. It was a total trip riding in it and even watching it come up. This was back in the 70’s before custom stuff was done to cars, at least in my area.
