The Alaskan coastal areas are incredible. I personally fell in love with the interior and the Brooks range. It was such an attraction that my wife and I moved here for the hunting, fishing, and back country recreation opportunities

Being from MN women hunting has always been a thing, my grandmas used to hunt when they were younger. They were never in to it the same way some of the men were, all the women I know quit eventually do to it “not being worth the cold” lol
my wife will hunt but she only hunts to go with me, none of my kids (all daughters) are super into it either but I drag them to the woods anyway, luckily they do like to shoot so getting to practice for it is not a issue.

That was beautiful. Not always about filling a tag. It’s the memories.
