Shocking the rule changes are now with the fuel tank cap thing, I get it there's some dodgy tanks out there that do leak (i had one years ago which was an old fashioned screw top fire extinguisher) but most of them now don't leak unless some humpty hasn't screwed the cap on tight.
In my defense I never did anything like BWS meetings I only ever raced at Ringwood raceway or cheetahs and did Bourne(R.I.P) once so the rules were pretty slack compared to speedeworth. I always thought the inline fuel tap was a mandatory rule though.

What we do in 455s garage,Rickinghall get so much a build done then make a list of left to do on a white board n tick the last few jobs off as done Pete,

I always use an old cut up inner tube and replace the seals in the easy bleed caps as the brake fluid eats them
