I love the perspective you bring on what it is really like to live in this neighborhood! The walkability and views from the rolling hills are my favorite!

The first batch of homes on Franciscan and nearby were built in the late 60’s. We’ve always referred to the neighborhood as Montevideo, despite not having access to the cabana.

The homes below & east of Paso Los Cerritos came later, and the homes around Castillero in the 80’s. We used to play on Pierce’s dairy land until he chased us away with his pellet gun filled with rock salt!
I grew up here and it was amazing. Kids everywhere! Hiking in the hills, discovering the quicksilver mines, so much fun.
