I love how you made do with what you had. That is often what I struggle with - I want to have the perfect things. Would love to see what Abby packed 🙂.
Ответитьdo a full minimalist wardrobe
Ответитьhouse tour
ОтветитьThis is really inspiring. One question: how often / how did you do laundry? Did you have to build time for that into your itinerary or think about the places you were staying?
ОтветитьContented -1
ОтветитьLove the quality of your videos! Shots compositions etc.
ОтветитьGreat Video! I have question about the socks 😁
How did you manage to get the dry in time for your next leg of the journey or did you mostly stay in a single accommodation?
Great video. This is a good example of “good enough” versus trying to find the perfect minimalist packing
ОтветитьMinimizing luggage always brings freedom to every trip
ОтветитьLove the video! How big is your camera backpack ?
Ответить😎Do you have a link to those specific packing cubes, please?✌️
ОтветитьCopa Airlines accepted wandrd 31L personal item 😮
ОтветитьGreat video, please model of camera and lens, thanks
ОтветитьAll that you need is your big wallet...
That's minimalist travel 😅
Good info. Just sharing...I have a selfie-stick w/ a tripod base & a blue-tooth remote. It folds down compact and you can get shots that you might miss otherwise. It also works great when you have a video call.
ОтветитьAwesome video! The only extra tip I would offer is to do laundry in your hotel room every night by hand. I got a travel clothesline that I can tie across the hotel bathroom and leave the clothes to hang dry there overnight. Super useful and cheap item that takes almost no space.
ОтветитьThis was great for me to see now! Getting ready for a two week trip and I always do carryon but trying to find ways to be even more minimal and you said something in the beginning….”not trying to have the perfect things and just being okay with the things I have as long as they are functional and usable” I usually have a roller suitcase and my Pakt backpack. Which is the perfect combination but after looking at this video, I see where I can minimize the clothing. No one is gonna care if I wore the same pair of pants more than once during the trip. 😂 And ain’t don’t need a lot of shoes…. So thank you. As a woman who wears men clothing, videos like yours helps me a lot. Thank you.
ОтветитьDo you have your itinerary uploaded somewhere?
ОтветитьAs a fellow minimal one bag traveler, I only bring 3 merino wool T-shirts and I suggest the same. Merino wool is anti-bacterial, odor-resistant, and temperature-regulating, so you won’t need to wash them on a 1-2 week trip. I also bring two quick-dry running shorts (also works as swimming shorts) and a pair of jeans or chinos based on the destination and weather. If I'm wearing a belt (which I don't) it will be airport security friendly...as in plastic belt bucke with a nylon belt instead of metal and leather. Nano dry towel by a company named Matador which when packed can fit inside your fist. For your jacket, you want to invest in something that will keep you warm and dry as well. So instead of carrying a jacket and a raincoat, get a jacket that is waterproof. I use a jacket called Nomad E by a company called Graphene X that is 3 layer but only weights around 300gms which is negligible. Did I miss anything?
Ответитьwashing is by far the biggest issue with minimal luggage >> once you are ok with washing in a sink (and drying) almost every single day then you are good to go. Oh and one pair of sneakers is also not ideal, depending on the feet they might stink pretty bad if you would not let them dry up a bit
ОтветитьGreat Video Bro! Keep it up.
ОтветитьTips? Maybe change all liquid toiletries to solids, add some flip-flops and as you noted always carry an insulating layer. Great setup though.
ОтветитьHow often did you wash clothes since you had only 4 top-pieces?
Ответитьbro brought a water bottle for a trip through Italy 😂
oh americans...
Did you find you needed both the dress shirt and polo? I feel like one would have served you.
ОтветитьNice, but the prvke is heavy!
ОтветитьI’m a big fan of the Lululemon ABC. I used them for the first time on a recent trip and they were perfect. I also highly recommend finding a wool blend tshirt that you like- you can wear them for days and they don’t stink!
ОтветитьYou could have used the belt to hold up your shorts. You could also have bought nail clippers in Italy. You were lucky you weren't stopped for using the TSA bag as they are larger than the maximum size allowed in Europe.
ОтветитьWithout getting into personal details, I lost contact with my 4 maximum size roller suitcases, full of all my (fancy / expensive) clothing, shoes, accessories etc. plus my wallet, passport, 4 university diplomas, documents, tablet, gaming consoles, VR headset etc.
In short, all my life, essentially (I was in the middle of moving from one country to another and then to a 3rd one shortly after. But the pandemic hit then divorce etc. got stuck in an Eastern Asian country for 2 years)
Anyway, I was the happiest EVER in my life with only my phone, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 shirts, 3 t-shirts and my laptop. Phone covered the access to Airbnb (no hotel bookings without the physical passport) and money withdrawal (as I also didn't have access to my wallet and the cards). It changed me, in my core, forever. I was never happier in my life. It was an extremely freeing experience.
impressive, I always have too mucht luggage and carry a large suitcase with me... So, maybe I'll try it your way, just to find out how that is! Enjoy your travels!
ОтветитьGreat tips and inspiration! I've had clippers thrown away at airport security several times if in my carry-on. It's hit and miss, but you may have not had clippers anyway had you brought them.
For others, he's absolutely spot-on about the packing cubes. How having more material in your bag saves you room is beyond me, but after years of avoiding them, I finally tried them. Changed my travel life completely. Not only does it make things fit better, but it's easier to unpack at a hotel or when you get home. Plus, when you're rummaging around in your bag at the airport, things don't just fall out everywhere.
how many pairs of the abc pants do you own?
ОтветитьDoes not seem very minimal according to hygiene, though.
ОтветитьWhat was the weight of your backpack with everything in it?
Ответить
