The way the beggar woman appears only after Anthony sees Johanna and has no interaction with Sweeney right until the ending makes you think Burton dropped the whole plot with her being Lucy and gives you false hope that Sweeney and Lovett might end up together.

When I worked in a restaurant most our customers were anorexic or something, every day there'd be huge amounts of heavy food waste rubbish to take out, I was just like "not taking it personally or anything?!" It wasn't bad food although I had some of the blood orange juice it was very sour

It's a sad scene when you think about it

Musicals are the worst kind of movies.

I will never forgive them for how much of this song that they cut, it's one of the best songs in the show and they shaved the whole number down to less than three minutes 😭😭😭
