Intel failed by making DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 part of the minimum specification for Thunderbolt 5. As a result Lunar Lake comes without integrated support for Thunderbolt 5. That is not very intelligent.
Not only is there no integrated support but the discrete solution provided by Barlow Ridge has had a disappointing adoption rate for the same reason.
