Reassuring to know it’s not only me having a problem of setting a nicely doted float for silvers to find it disappears underwater later in the session , unfortunately in my late 60s re trimming on the bank with finesse is difficult, So definitely got to give this a try (cheers for the tip)

Does it not make your float sit strange if you put shot above the float

I’ve been doing this for a year (suspect we saw the same video) and now add one small stotz on every rig when making them up (size dependent on bristle thickness/type).
