I think the qubit is yet to be define in terms of representation of Alphbet and Number systems.....This is explaination for a decimal point in standard binary computing...

too many sound effects and the material way way way to damn low level and technical for the layman. Thumbs way down.

I still have no idea how qubit can compute a simple equation like 1 + 1.... A qubit can have 0 and 1 state at the same time... huh, it sounds more like a bug in classic computer. lol

When people search for 'What is a qubit', they probably won't feel enlightened until they know why is a qubit more powerful that a normal bit, and give an example of this advantage in action. It's probably best to put these all together in one. (hint: I've seen other videos do this in 24 fewer seconds!)

Ответить
@what9418
@what9418 - 31.07.2023 02:00

This is quite superficial. If a qubit holds a probability, then how should you interpret its value? And what determines its value in the first place?

It is nice that quantum computing is so much faster yet what is computed exactly? A probability of an outcome?

And if it computes things in 40 seconds what a supercomputer takes 40 years to compute, then how can we verify the result?

Most irritating presentation. Whoever wrote this is not a specialist and the loud irritating sound effects is a source of random noise preventing anybody to follow the logics of what is being narrated. In a way that is positive because the basic story does not convey any understanding of the scientific background and there thus is no logic worth listening to in this presentation.

Okay, i believe i understand fairly well what it is they DO, and how their function differs from "regular" bits. But there is something fundamental im not understanding and am having trouble finding resource on. What IS a qubit? Is it a electron or something?

I HAVE PERFECTED THE FUNDAMENTAL UNIFICATION REGARDING PHYSICS/PHYSICAL EXPERIENCE:

The dimensions of SPACE are, in fact, balanced. Proportionately, one part in comparison with two parts is BOTH one half AND one third. This can be, and it is, true in physics. IMPORTANT. Consider what is THE EYE ON BALANCE. INDEED, consider what is the man (AND THE EYE ON BALANCE) who IS standing on WHAT IS THE EARTH/ground !! Now, notice the TRANSLUCENT and blue sky ON BALANCE. (THE EARTH is ALSO BLUE.) Notice that the maria do occupy ONE THIRD of the near side of WHAT IS THE MOON !! (Notice that what is the ORANGE AND SETTING SUN IS the SAME SIZE as what is THE EYE ON BALANCE.) The density of LAVA IS about THREE TIMES that of water !!! ONE HALF multiplied times ONE THIRD IS ONE SIXTH !! GREAT. The stars AND PLANETS are POINTS in the night sky. Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE. Consider what is the fully illuminated AND setting/WHITE MOON ON BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE); AS the rotation of WHAT IS THE MOON matches the revolution; AS TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE !!! Accordingly, the land surface area of WHAT IS THE EARTH is, in fact, EXACTLY 29 percent, AS this IS balanced between ONE THIRD AND ONE QUARTER. Magnificent. (Do consider what is the orange AND setting SUN ON BALANCE.) INDEED, the bulk density of WHAT IS THE MOON IS comparable to that of (volcanic) basaltic lavas ON THE EARTH !!! Fantastic. One third multiplied times one half IS one sixth. This (CLEARLY AND ALSO) explains the surface gravity of what is the Moon in what constitutes DIRECT and fundamental comparison with what is THE EARTH. Notice that the lunar crust IS then (about) TWICE as thick on it's far side ON BALANCE (or comparatively). Great !!! WHAT IS GRAVITY is, ON BALANCE, an INTERACTION that cannot be shielded or blocked. (BALANCE AND COMPLETENESS GO HAND IN HAND.) TIME is NECESSARILY possible/potential AND actual ON/IN BALANCE, AS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is CLEARLY AND NECESSARILY proven to be gravity (ON/IN BALANCE). A given PLANET (including WHAT IS THE EARTH) sweeps out equal area in equal TIME. Perfect. (Consider TIME AND time dilation ON BALANCE.) Finally, also consider the fact that the density of pure water IS HALF of that of what constitutes packed sand/wet packed sand.

You have done a great job at not overcomplicating things while at the same time avoiding the pitfalls of simplifying quantum mechanics.
The woosh sound is at the very least too distracting and should be toned down, replaced or removed altogether.
I would love seeing a more in depth video on quantum computing.
