Black Hills Spruce Bonsai - Nursery Stock

Season 3 begins. So fun to be at it again. In this video I work on a nursery stock spruce and begin it's journey into a bonsai. It's a black hills spruce bonsai. Interestingly, as I researched the species it was recommended for bonsai use. Smaller and dense foliage. I didn't know this when I bought the tree. Lucky me. So good for me to practice my bonsai wiring techniques and design concepts. Once I start working it's easy for me to lose my mind and forget to make thoughtful decisions.
