I saw Metallica in 1990 or 91 (Lubbock, TX). maybe later (black album). All of the band was terrific, but Lars acted like it was his first concert. He was incredible. They played 3 hours plus, no breaks. Their last song, "One", Lars looked like he didn't want to leave.

I've seen great shows, but that one was.....Wow!

Groucho Marx got his start in show business by answering a want ad, and Harpo Marx played Russia in the middle of Stalinism. Why exactly there could be a comparison between Metallica and the Marx Brothers, or indeed why anyone would want to do so, um, where was I going with this?

Concert was epic and i have re-watched it many times, but Lars is very clumsy with history. Perestroika began 87-88 and Soviet Union had a massive record industry with Melodia firm, also distributing western stuff without paying the licence fee. Metallica´s stuff was sold and re-recorded in the endless flow of pirate cassettes. By 1991 there were several smaller record companies at work who took more alternative approach. But hearing Metallica in Soviet Union from the cassette back in 87 was a bang from outer space.

I wonder if Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only have ever thanked Metallica for making their careers?

Look how life was before diversity was forced upon up. The Bible warned us about the ➡️⛧✡︎⬅️
Revelation 3:9
“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”
