Excellent! The Tesla has to be the easiest EV to charge. A breeze. I don’t need to ask you how happy you are with it. I’m still driving my Leaf, and by the way things are going it’s going to outlive me. But, if I do get a new EV someday down the road, it will be a Tesla. By then, the range will be a thousand miles with a 10 minute charge time. 👍😊

Turns out it was quicker to start the charge than parking the car! Who said it will never catch on? Lol

Good to hear from you guys again. We recently took our MY LR from Canberra to Adelaide and back with an overnight in Bendigo. The motel had overnight free charging. My memories of supercharging along the way was that the charging was too quick! We seemed to always be rushing to finish meals because I’d invariably get a msg that the car was charged up and ready to go before we had finished lunch.

Glad to see you both had a super easy supercharger! No matter what people say, Tesla is currently best in class for EVs from a tech point of view and ease of use! Looking forward to your road trip video! Don't forget a type 2 cable for the trip for those free AC chargers you might find!

I am surprised the charge door isn't on the driver's side of the vehicle, and those DC plugs are huge compared to the NACS port on North American Teslas.
