great video, love the content you're making.
ОтветитьThis is a high risk, high reward build and i like it, but if people know what thjey are doing, and a little CC would destroy this combo, since it takes a little over 3 seconds to "cast it all", alexstrasza is a good example since she has no CC whatsoever, but even D-Cain has a pushback with talents on melee, Reynor has the pushback/autoheal, Tassadar can banish, etc, etc...good combo to destroy no CC squishys (alexs) or glass canons like Nova...
ОтветитьYay finally someone talking about valeera. The more valeera videos. The faster the devs can fix my favourite hero
ОтветитьOnly time I would give you dislike straight from start, otherwise keep up the good work!
PS: Screw Valeera
where do you get the custom map to practice these combos?
Ответитьtriggered vanilla wow ptsd
ОтветитьThis build fail.
It will very different in true combat.
You mostly need silence enemy.
So build Q on level 13 16 is quite useless.
And level 1 if you pick Vigor you will not have enough energy to burst down someone before you complete your Vigor Quest. Lv1 you better pick Subtlety
I don't know, maybe I am a bigger noob than I have judged, but without the slow at 1 ppl just walk away b stepping and u do shit.
What am I missing?
It will stop working since Platinum where ppl will play as a team use escapes and supports actually will use their skills to save teammates.
In QM you may pick Crippling Poison and same build and combo will be QQQQQ and they will not run away after using their escapes.
Also you don't need to do any quests.
I think Crippling Poison is essential with Mutilate. You don't need Vigor to do the full Q build combo. And use W first after initiation to avoid missing the first Q.
ОтветитьNotParadox, are you interested in Psychology?
ОтветитьAwesome as always. :)
ОтветитьYeah , only one problem , no one is gonna stay still for 2 secconds so that u can do ur combo.
ОтветитьI had no idea. Thank you
ОтветитьMinor correction: Valeera can still use openers while revealed, you have to actually knock her out of stealth.
ОтветитьSeems people forget what 'one-shot' means.
Funny how in the very age of information we have so many people who seem to forget definition of words.
Also, level 16 values are pointless.
...and then they use their escape instantly or get help. Gotta go with slows and silences, then q q e q w
ОтветитьTried the build and valeera just suck. By the time the build is done we either already lost or enemy group up tight and I do poor in teamfight. Firstly there's already rarely any hero that cannot cc you or have mobility skill to get away. After the Q talent, even a miss step can also cause you to lose the target already. The overall range is just a huge pain for valeera. Any other melee assain can engage from longer range than her. She highly rely on teammates to provide cc or bruise enemy before engage but many other ranged hero can just do better in the same situation. The only unique thing valeera provide is the 2.5s silence. If don't take advantage of that then better off just pick other hero.
ОтветитьThis is not working in real scenarios, because the opponent will just walk away. I am a Valeera main, and I always go with the slow at lvl 1, that will guarantee that all your Q will hit.
Also if the target has a dash (which many many has...) they can create a gap very quickly so that your Q will be ineffective. So instead of Q I always open with Silence (+slow) and just Q-Q-Q-W-E. The silence does huge damage after lvl 20.
Ever since the stealth change, it is more effective to NOT stealth first to initiate. You just walk in, hit D to stealth, and THEN immediately Ambush or whatever you need to do while stealth.
ОтветитьHey, I was wondering... could you maybe do a ktz combo video? I can never get it right.
Also, do you stream?
Ty <3
Again a nice tip! I actually lose a lot when there's a Valeera in team, or when I play it myself. Then I look on Tentonhammer, and it puts her in C tier. Is her viable anymore, is she worth the time to master her or just go another hero?
Thanks kindly
Keep it up :)
Im 218 Valeera, I like this build.
ОтветитьThat's great and all but we're talking level 16. So it's definitely a scaling build. If your team isn't holding its own during early or mid game you're going to be pretty useless until then. If your team doesn't at least keep up in level you're going to be hard pressed to preform. Plus with the amount of people with reveals now, and the stealth rework, on top of her not having any good mobility options for disengaging, she's been a pretty losy pick.
ОтветитьNot a good build.
Ответить1shot ??? the tower hit alex dude... dislike for clickbait
ОтветитьYou can do 5.3k damage with Zetatul haha just saying
ОтветитьWhy not just Q > Q > W > E > Q? It gets out the biggest part of your burst a lot faster and lets you set up for another engage as you don't waste a combo point.
ОтветитьI remember the old Valeera… She could kill many heroes (not only ranged dps) during the stun effect. Good times and a lot of salt
ОтветитьShe’s a sub rogue. I like it
Ответитьdislike because of the misuse if the term "one-shot". what this build does is burst damage.. one-shot is when you kill someone in only one attack on that single target
Ответитьyes i was waiting for this
ОтветитьLol what a shit video. Your pinned comment just highlights that.
Ответитьisnt q, q, q, w, e wasting a combo point?
ОтветитьThe invisible, teleporting at your very back to stun or silence and deal 3500 dmg while you can't do shit. Valeera, so ballanced.
ОтветитьI would like to argue that Valeera gets more value out of silencing a key member of the enemy team or blinding them if it's an AA hero. I understand the value in the talent picks, but you will have a very weak lategame if you only focus on the solo laner or those that overextend.
ОтветитьI like Q W E and Qs to catch them. Still one shots them
ОтветитьWell valeera is already very good at 1v1 but with this build she is even weaker in a teamfight
ОтветитьI'm maining her this season with 60% wr in 100 games and my build is poison/q/q/CoS/2 or 3 based on main threat/q/situational. Being able to pull out 2 good eviscerates in under 3 sec is way too good. Combo is E-Q-E-Q-either E if that's enough or Q-E
Ответитьdude i love your videos man. you are very clear on what to do. can we get an updated version of this?
ОтветитьYou explained nothing. We need something like E Q W R stuff. And you just kept doing the stupid flashy thing over and over again without telling the sequence. Disliked.
Ответитьi do d q/w/e (depending on the situation) q w e aa q aa and it takes solid amounts of dmg
ОтветитьIn 2020 its useless. But that rly looks powerful in 2018
ОтветитьOne thing i sure is Valeera needs " Crippling Poison " baseline not talent.
ОтветитьNot a Valeera player - is this still (after so many patches) the build to use? Or do we need a new guide?
ОтветитьI know this is 6 years later and perhaps we have grown as a community, but this is a sub-optimal combo for multiple reasons. Firstly you need a talent that enables you to get your combo off reliably. That means either slow talent at lvl 1 or speed talent at lvl 4. Assuming you go speed talent at 4 you can then take energy regen after opener at 1 instead of max energy quest, as the regen works perfectly for your burst windows anyway and you dont need to do a quest for 10 minutes. The rest of the build is the same. Taking speed at 4 also gives you 2 combo points on opener. This allows you to get 2 full combo point eviscerated off in 1 opener. You open with whatever is needed, into q e. Then you q w q e. There is short delay as you wait for your lvl 1 to do its thing. But it results in alot more dmg without resource waste. If you dont want to delay just dont do last q for 2 point eviscerated, which is still more damage than this video showcases. Hope this helps some valeera beginner who stumbles across this video. Like the vids though
ОтветитьSo I neglected to mention the combo in the video so here it is:
Stealth and wait for it to give you the jump > Isolate them then Q > Q > Q > W > E > Q with auto attacks in between followed by a trait to get out after the burst. This will take out anyone who is slightly away from their team and the great part of tagging people away from their team is it is low risk. Don't do this build and try to walk through the enemy team to burst a backliner, use it to grab people who position poorly or people during rotations. Before you get the isolation it's best to use the silence instead when getting people.
