I have said this on other posts, I think the APP should disallow volleying in singles, this would create actual baseline rallies. They need to make pickleball play as much like tennis as possible.

Anyone else here because they got some pickleball paddles and wiffle ball for Christmas? I didn't even know what it was.

GREAT selection! I usually see one or two rallies in these highlights videos that are not that great, but everyone of these was spectacular.

Probably a fun sport to play, but really boring to watch.

I mean, it´s pretty obvious the USA is slow-sliding into global oblivion, but if this is their last ´contribution´ to the world, then their ´empire´ can´t end quick enough.

Americans: pickleball is very very boring. 4 people in 5 square meters. Even disgusting padel is more fun.

ima be honest all these points look like me and my teams when we go out to play like, if nothing happens in my time in college for tennis and I dont think I can go any further in tennis then I will do Pickleball cause it is hella fun and so much easier, already past the 5.0 mark but I dont have the time to go to those places to play

I think this sport is for people who don't have many aspirations in life. On the one hand, they could play tennis but it must be physically very exhausting, or they could play ping pong but it required a lot of technique and precision... That's why Pickleball was created, just right in between, for the weak.

Even with their best highlights this game is soooo boring. Ping pong is way more exciting than this. Play real tennis you losers!

Pickelball is so gay😅

Forgive a noob question but I’m confused about balls that fly past the net, not over. In the first and second point seen, there’s a moment when the a side seems to hit the ball over to the opponents court without it passing over the net. I see conflicting statements on whether this is legal play.

Secondly there are several balls that seem to volleys where the momentum carries the player OVER the NVZ, but they take care to land outside on the side. This strikes me as against the spirit of the NVZ but clearly seems legal.

The fact that these are a year highlights tells you everything about it.

Bruh, when the other team is so far back, why not just softly hit it in the kitchen to let it double bounce… 🤷
