FT1 is an interesting set. Hearing a lot of 620 comparisons. I didn’t like the 620s as much as I wanted to, considering how many Sennheiser sets I’ve owned and loved over the years. $150 is an easy blind buy; appreciate these compilation videos. I think they’re a “Fresh” take on the review format and prefer the casual approach, since many of us are probably all keyboard, mice, and headphone enthusiasts.

I've actually had an Anthros as well for a little over a week now. The seat cushion is very nice, but man I cannot find a comfortable position for those back rests. Tried a bunch of different configurations but nothing seems to not cause discomfort overtime.

I ended up going down to a local chair showroom and tested out a Humanscale Freedom and I'm heavily considering it over the Anthros now.

I cannot wait for the closed-back follow up. Searching in that section of the audio world for a decent pair of headphones for gaming, is a nightmare.

Hi, just got the FT1 today and had the opportunity to test it on Overwatch (defo not the best sound engine, better test on PUBG for instance). I do also own a hifiman he400se (which is an open planar hp, not too hard to drive and a bit cheaper). The hifiman offers a better soundstage but the imaging might be the same, unsure for now. In your case of course you're worried about the sound bleeding in which is a legitimate concern. In my case I can still hear the air purifier with these one, not sure how effective the passive noise cancel is, don't have any other closed hp to compare to.

These HP are great for music though, if you happen to be a bit of a bass head you get strong, detailed bass. For me a definitive best bang for the buck overall, but for gaming purposes only other HP might be better. I would also say that I hate the Beyerdynamics 770/990 don't have detachable cables, their durability clearly doesn't warrant a non detachable implementation; never buying a HP without detachable cables. One touted to be among the best yet still somewhat affordable is the Sennheiser hd 560S....I owned a hd 650 for 12 years, Im confident with this brand.

And then there is the IEM route, a narrower soundstage (though not as much as you 'd believe) but usually better imaging, separation and definitely the best noise cancelling solution.

my 2 cents for people wondering about these HP, make no mistake, great value overall but I'm not totally sold on the gaming use, will have to test some more on other games too.
