There is such a misconception that joy and happiness are the same thing. Which is why even in the Christian community so many are confused and dumbfounded by the two. Happiness is this momentarily feeling that comes with laughter and good moments. But joy is so much deeper than that, joy is being content and okay with God’s desire for us. It is accepting God’s will for our lives with an open heart, without resent or “Why me God?” rather with a heart that says “He I Am, send me!”. We are expected to be happy all the time and smile but we are called to show our joyous heart by showing gratitude and contentment during tough trials. Even Jesus wept. A few weeks ago, the Lord put it strongly in my mind that He is near. He gave me a Name of God - Jehovah Shammah which means The Lord is Here. Over the next few days, He reminded me that He is present, and that He is near through every season, especially the wilderness season. I feel He is preparing for a hard season that will be coming someday soon. Your video is just another step in that process, I believe.

I just got back from the mental hospital, and I was there close to 4 months 1/2. It was very taxing on my mind and spirit. There were several things that made it very hard. But I'm back now, and the truth is, it didn't affect me any close to the point of breaking, but it was a constant thing I had to remind myself to be strong. I'm so happy you dont have to go through what I did. Thank God you are strong and not weakening like it could have happened to me.
