Is Aldershot Burlington the right place for person who has to commute to St Catherine's for college and Toronto for job? What are the pros and cons?

My Great-Great Grandmother worked for a railroad company and moved from city to city. One of the cities she worked in was Aldershot. She birthed and raised some of her children in Aldershot in the 1930s. They were Mohawk from Six Nations.
