Asset Skills - The Cleaning Sector by Video Production company Mediapool

BRIEF
Asset Skills wanted to highlight the importance of retaining cleaning staff. Giving employees the opportunity to improve themselves by training and obtaining qualifications helps retention. Producing an information film would help raise awareness of the skills needed whilst also showing the benefits available to employers, partners and stakeholders.

APPROACH
The film aimed not only to show the training needed in this industry but also inspire existing staff to consider promotion within the sector. Mediapool created a documentary style piece, with an in-vision presenter and voiceover, of approximately 5 minutes in length. It was essential that the benefits of promotion within the cleaning sector were seen in action. Attention was therefore focused on filming successful employees still working within the industry, to inspire other personnel about career possibilities available. Asset Skills wanted the key message to be an extremely positive and motivational one, so uplifting music and graphics illustrating key points were used.

RESULT
A DVD was created with an additional introduction film acting as an overview of Asset Skills main responsibilities and showing how the organisation could help companies. Asset Skills were extremely happy with the results, ordering over 5000 copies.
