Top Boy brought my ignorant American ass here. I didn't know any of these people, nor did i know they were rappers. I had to come here to see how Kano sounds and y o........... Dude is wicked. Entertainment companies in America need to really start highlighting more British music and start playing more British films and TV shows. Americans are super selfish when it comes to Hollywood and music. They want everybody to follow them, but they won't follow Brits. Brits know everything about our culture because we force it on them. And many of us Americans don't know much about British films or music because Americans feel like they are more important than anybody else. I'm digging British culture. I always did because i'm Jamaican born. So i can identify with the Jamaican side of Britain. I'm a newbie to the hood and film side. So far, i'm loving what i see and hear. And at the same time embarrassed for not knowing much. I told my friend to check out Top Boy and as soon as he heard it was British, he seemed uninterested. Then one day he came to my house while i was watching it and he was glued to my TV. I said, "See, you dumbass. I told you the shit was good. "
