ROLF. This is my absolute favorite line as well.. Bunny is so wonderfully over the top.. and this in a film with so many amazing wacky nuts lines.. I really love this film.

Ed Wood knew structure and pacing. Never a dead spot in this film. Would have made a first class editor today. Just would have to keep him far away from any scripted dialogue.

This is funny. I met “The Ruler” —John Breckinridge, known as Bunny—around 1980, when he lived in Carmel CA. My colleague and I had to run out to his home for a job. His house was a mansion. He was born into a very wealthy family but as a young man he was a drag queen In Paris. Gore Vidal based his novel “Myra Breckinridge” on his life. Super flamboyant. At the time I went there, Paul Marco, the dude who played Kelso the cop, was hanging out with Bunny. My friend and I were a bit stunned. Remember, we were in our twenties and in 1980 not many gay people were “out” so we were a bit taken aback. Not a big deal these days, of course. He died in Carmel in the 1990’s, I recall.
