yo thanks for the tips but it is impossible to reach to the first reset point as lvl 41 becuz mobs are shredding me

This seems impossible to do right now, are you using any resistance gear? I cant even get to first reset without dying (doing exactly what you did with 500 hp less tho) but seems you barely getting dmg from shadowbolts? one shadowbolts after ive barrier and mana shield takes 40 % of my hp.

Did they fix this? I'm 43, and doing this exactly as demonstrated and I'm getting the mobs to ~50% HP by the time I'm oom, used my mana gem, and used evocation. There's no healing totems being put down. I have 3500 mana. Maybe this only works if you're full BiS from the previous phase?

When I do this boss is not resetting he keep using shadow bolt from far, what do i do

If you plan to sell boost in ZF, best is to farm princess dagger, it does proc everytime and you are never oom even without clearcasting :)

dont bother trying to use the reset spot if your any other race then gnome, because the shadowcasters will just wall bang you no matter how hard you try to line of sight.

43+, not 40. Can get hardstuck first safespot with aggro on Bloodrinker and/or Witch Doctor thats lvl 45 and pats.

typical blizzard to remove safe spots. God i hate them, they ruin everything.
I came to see this for SOD; cuz I did it in classic + in classic + where I did as a paladin.
Now I wanted to do it as a mage in sod :P

There’s a reset spot to the right of where you went left on the wall. The right wall you can get on by jumping on the corner of it

anyone else noticed alot of rng as far as zombie spawns. some pulls i have 50+ some pulls i have 25. has it always been like that

Here are a few things I noticed while doing this from 43-50.

1. The reset in the cave doesn't always work. Sometimes the boss will not reset and you're stuck there forever unless you run out.
2. When running towards the juggle spot to begin the pull my recommendation is to flamestrike the first pack on the left of the boss, living bomb any mob that might be at risk of not getting pulled, and living bomb the far pack on the left of the long ledge (NOT FLAMESTRIKE) because you might otherwise spend too much time and have the first pack reset. You need to jump as soon as possible to the second spot of the juggle to cleanly pull everything.
3. When you jump to the second spot of the juggle coming from the long ledge, do NOT stand too close to the corridor while the mobs are all coming. If you stand too close, they will be able to hit you while running past and they might kill you.

my experience at level 50 ...
doesnt work well with mana as shown here in the video.
have to use 2-3 gems, evocate and still have to wait alot for mana to come back :(
dont know why - just did 3 runs and got them mostly together.
took like 10-12 minutes each run (which would be fine since you can only go 4-5 an hour)

Why did they totally change the way the mobs work they run fast and don't slow obviously this video is lit and you can do it this way but still I am confused why the need to nerf with all the stuff in sod for xp it's kinda pointless nerf
