Can you still bath birds outside when it's cold? I'm in Philly and right now its 30°
ОтветитьBean is so cute....
Ответитьi Love watching cute birds eat.
ОтветитьHe is SO stinkin CUTE!
Ответить👍
ОтветитьI just love watching Bean's progression. We have a 27 year old gray named Beanz - the love of our lives. We got him at 6 weeks and he has taught us so much. Thanks for the updates.
ОтветитьIf I leave my fanny pack's zipper open like yours, my bird(gcc) would fly to it and stick his head in there and help himself. hahahah
ОтветитьMaybe a Gorillapod would be helpful for your camera. You can clamp it on nearly anything and the taller ones aare able to hold a dslr. Mane Bean did not like the combination of the bit more gusty wind and the water? He seemed to behave uncomfortable at the time the wind got more noisy.
ОтветитьHI BEANNNYYYYYYYY I MISS UUUU
ОтветитьWell Progress is slow but its getting there you both have as much time as it takes I'm sure Great Vlog thank you
ОтветитьBean is my favorite! I love seeing his progress, it really makes my day. ❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьHow old is Bean?😍
ОтветитьJamie it's my request can you please make a training session video of a flighted budgie
Please
👍👍👍👍👍💋💋💋💋💋💋💕💕👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьCan I paint a parrot cage if so what paint is best?
ОтветитьThank you for this vidéo
ОтветитьHis gymnastics are impressive, but I think he'll find it much easier to get around the aviary once he realizes that he knows how to fly.
ОтветитьIs bean afraid of flying ?
ОтветитьI know you mentioned in the video beak wiping isn't usually a sign of aggression. I was wondering what exactly it does mean? My conure is CONSTANTLY wiping his beak on everything. I have had him a year (he's 17)and I always just assumed he was claiming these toys/perches as his own, but does it mean something else?
ОтветитьMaybe you just will have to use at least some Birdy bread if that's what he likes..
ОтветитьHe is so cute.
ОтветитьIf I put a bunch of treats on a piece of paper towel like that, my bird would start screaming in excitement, eat a bite of each treat, and then start chewing the paper towel 🤪 but not after devouring a bunch of the treats all at once and hovering to make sure nobody else was going to touch them
But no way would he be as reserved towards treats as Bean is. You’d think my bird was treat deprived, the way he behaves. I guess it’s lucky for me that he’s so treat motivated, because it’s been relatively easy to train him to step up and such, given that he’s an 8 year old rescue that was neglected and didn’t have any training at all when we got him
What motivated Bean, if not treats? How did you eventually get him to want to train?
You may have Winter in Idaho, but in California land prices are so expensive that even though we don’t have Winter (except in the Sierras,) many of us can’t afford to ever enjoy taking our birds outside because we live in apartments. If I ever want to own a home with a yard I’ll probably have to move to a place like Utah or Idaho or Kansas or New Mexico. Which all have Winter. Hey, at least I could take my birds outside half the year, as opposed to never
ОтветитьYou are making great progress with Bean, a gorgeous bird.
ОтветитьNo raisins?
ОтветитьI live in Utah and have an African grey. I've set up a small aviary but I'm never sure what temperature I can take him outside and leave him for a few hours. I'm always afraid it's going to be too cold or hot. Do you guys check the temp and make sure it's within a certain scale or is it all about acclimatizing them to all temps? Not sure if you guys have a video on this or not but it would be nice to get a little information on it. Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьStand up Bean a be a big boy bird! not a scared to death neurotic mess
ОтветитьI love how far he has came because of you!! He’s really such a sweet and very smart boy..there’s something about his eyes that just melts me every time 😍😍😍
ОтветитьToday was the first day I tried birdfood,i tried millet ut taste like rice
ОтветитьWunderbares Video Jamie ist die beste♥️♥️
ОтветитьYou never fail to amaze me! You and your hubbys vids have changed my life with my baby ecky! Btw I love what you’re wearing!
ОтветитьSmart boy, he knows to go for those omega-3 fats.
ОтветитьMy AG loves cashews, but just like mine, it looks like he prefers to go exploring...lol
ОтветитьMy Maximus (also a Grey) loves walnuts and cashews equally, followed closely by sunflower seeds and pecans. He enjoys peanuts but not crazy for them. He also hates almonds and pistachios….maybe it’s a Grey thing.
ОтветитьGood morning, where are you guys located? We have and Africa Grey as well for about two years now, the store we bought him from told us he’s three years old at the time we got him but….. he’s saying a few words now but yet to come to us, can’t count how many times he made me bleed from trying to get him. He would only come to us if we pick him up with his ladder but not on our hands. He’s flying around the house a lot. Any suggestions how we can get to come on our hand? Thank you!!
ОтветитьYour Amazing!!!!! I’m a beginner bird owner, but I’ve found my love for these birds and I learn sooooo much from you everyday! I loveeeee the outdoor aviary.. the stands through out the house… allll if it!! love love love your set up! ❤️🧡💛💚💙 YOU GO GIRL!
ОтветитьHave you ever had a budgie that has seizures mine passed today was only 8 weeks old
ОтветитьI didn't understand Bean's story...if you made a video telling us I'd be grateful. 😘🤗😘
I love Bean.😍
I know this is way outside your usual area of focus but I just wanted to say that I'm actually using what I've learned from your videos about permission-based training, capturing existing behaviors, and building tricks incrementally to train my extremely skittish rabbit! I was looking for a way to just build a relationship with him and make him feel safe with me and it's been so super helpful! We went from him running any time I entered a room to him bugging me to train every morning when I sit down at my desk to work from home. Your impact is more than you know!
ОтветитьYou may discover that you don't always need a food treat. African Grays are so smart, they will work for lovins and the thrill of the task
ОтветитьCuriously, what is it about the different nuts/seeds or food in general that birds prefer or don't? Is it the texture? Can they taste?
ОтветитьYou are really good with birds, is there anything you suggest to read to learn more about bird behaviors?
ОтветитьYeah Jaime, why didn’t you show him the big ones? 🤣💀 Kids are the best!
ОтветитьI have a one and a half year old African Gray and her favorite treats are almost all where is protein, animal protein such as fried minced meat, lactose-free milk, or cheese, boiled egg white, etc. Nuts, or sunflower seeds are nothing so special in her mind. She like much more vegetables, berries, whatever greens and fruits than seeds or pellets.
ОтветитьWhat about bits from his normal food if that is his favorite?
ОтветитьBean has changed a lot since your first interations that we saw of you together.
ОтветитьWalnuts are a superior nut...my fav too!
ОтветитьThe head tilt 😢 so adorable
ОтветитьI just got a young black capped conure a couple weeks ago. Feathers clipped from the bird store. It is so heartbreaking to have a bird not understand what their wings are for. I really feel for Bean, and am working with my Nessi to slowly build muscle and confidence, eagerly awaiting her first molt!
