‘Bewitched’: The Reason Agnes Moorehead Made Dick Sargent Cry

Didn't know she did-all I know is that Agnes Morehead was not happy with Dick York being replaced with Dick Sargent because they had a close friendship with each other in spite of the fact that Endora was mean to Darrin because he was a mortal.

I like Dick York as the better Darrin.

Agnes Moorehead was supposed to be 180° of her character.

Agnes Morehead was my dad's grade school teacher in Soldiers Grove WI. Imagine having Endora for your teacher!?! That was when she was just out of college.

I liked both Darins.
There were also two Gladys and two Louise Tates I believe.

I liked both actors as Darrin, it is to bad Dick York had to quit the show. Good video Bob.

I preferred Dick York. It's sad that he had to leave. But he showed a lot of courage to work so long with all the pain. He was absent from several episodes during his final season. Those got rerun during the transition period.

The show would have probably ended without a replacement. Their love was supposed to be unique. Dick Sargent was at a big disadvantage. Among other things, his first episode was a remake of what many considered to be Dick York's finest. Other episodes were also remakes of earlier ones. The circumstances weren't his fault. I can understand Agnes not being as close with him. But he still deserved to be treated with respect. On some other shows, Endora would have eventually appreciated that her mortal son-in-law was a good husband, father, and provider.

I knew that Agnes and Dick York were good friends. And she didn't want him to go. I didn't know she took her unhappiness out on Dick Sargent 😳 Well it is, what it is now. 🤷‍♀️

I liked Derwood I better myself. 🤓😎✌🏻

I preferred York. But he had serious pain from what I've read, which I understand. My spinal canal is too small for my spinal cord.

Dick York was the best Darin !
