This is exactly what i said would happen. Bambu creators are the same people from dji. Dji was notorious for selling you there old model and then the next day without notice bringing out the new model making your one day old investment outdated and loose half its value. I said bambu would do the same. i was right.

Unfortunately the A1 is not currently available, maybe due to the cable recall. Wish I knew how long it's likely to be as we would like to purchase a 3D printer to make fun things as prizes. Fingers crossed it's soon! Oh, and my safe word is ED-209.... And so is my roomba... Yeah, that totally doesn't make me seem weird.

I really wish I'd known about about the Bambu Lab products when i bought my Ender 3 S1.

The Ender 3 S1 is definately a printer for people who like to constantly fix and calibrate their printer, or i just got a bad printer.

Maybe ill switch up to BL sometime thia year.

I am looking to but a Bambu Lab A1 but would like to store it in a cupboard when not in use. What is the depth when not in use. Bambu labs state a depth of 410mm but not sure is this the measuement in operation. Could you let me know what the min depth is when not in operation.

You're exactly right. The A1 Mini is fantastic. I was stoked about the A1. So much so, that I bought it also! I was enjoying my entry to 3D Printing Land so much, I immediately realized I wanted another printer for when the first one is busy on an 18 hour print job. The A1 was the perfect addition. I swap the AMS between them, depending on my needs at the time. They make a great pair!

How does the printer compare to the Ankermake M5, I have watched both videos and both seem great! I have the M5, which I love but these other features, mainly the AMS and the quick swap nozzle are game changers.

This is the video I was looking for so thank you for putting this out. I want to print not play with the printer or constantly fixing and tinkering. I'm tired too and feel the same way...I just want to enjoy the print!

Maybe it’s just me, but why would I want to handicap my first time 3d printing experience by purchasing a machine that I need to modify out of the box. Bambu Lab’s A1 is the one I want to be my first! Not some jank creality machine.

Loved the review, especially as someone who dreams of starting to print stuff, would probably like the idea of some device tinkering, but gotta keep priorities straight and keep 3D printers as being a hobby just for printing lol.

what are the total dimensions of this when the filament holder is mounted on top and loaded? ... have a printer enclosure with air filtration etc already, need to figure out if this would fit and can be handled with the top mount (no space for keeping it aside)

Having read many many customer reviews and watching your neptune 4 review and all other reviews I could find, It seems users have problems if not from the very start they will shortly. Like you I want my hobby to be printing not the printer.

I remember the good old days printing on the Anet A8. That was my first 3D printer. If the Bambu Lab A1 is your first 3D printer then you just skipped waisting several hours and days of your time.

Whoa! Is scanning the code with your phone the only way to get the assembly instructions? They ain't getting into my phone. I don't care what apps they offer. All apps are straws from your device to the nefarious companies selling every bit of data they can suck through that straw. If you don't know I'm right, you better learn what's going on.

I like the Bambu printers, but not the account requirement. If I could use it and keep the firmware updated without having to create yet another username and password, I'd probably buy one.

Wow you really love Bambu labs!... you can tell how bais you are. I agreem with most of what you say. However you said that bambu labs has support, which is bull! So far it takes Typically 4-5 days to get real support. Normally the first two days you get a message that says Hey We are busy!. I have both X1 carbon and A1. I want my printers to work, and they don't! Worse than that they don't have support that actually addresses a issue in a time frame that is acceptable!.

DJI and Bambu are both terrible at this in their own ways..

would you go with the A1 or P1P (multi filament prints are not important for me)??
