Arunachal Minister Holds Key Talks Amid Rising Protests Over Siang Upper Dam Project

Arunachal cabinet minister Ojing Tasing is holding a crucial meet with different stakeholders in a bid to resolve issues and allay apprehensions surrounding the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project. The meeting is underway at the Siang DC office. More than 100 villagers have gathered at the premises of the DC office, demanding that their concerns be heard. Inputs suggest anti-dam activist Bhanu Tatak is also attending the meeting. Worth mentioning, Siang DC PN Thungon on Monday had lodged a complaint at the Boleng police station in Siang district against anti-mega dam activist Ebo Mili.
