you're showing us these 15 minute sweetspot intervals, but in an other video you told us to do 20 minute@ftp. which one should i use?
ОтветитьThis is a good one, very important!
JGSB
Blinking back lights are actually worse than constantly glowing ones, because car drivers aren't able to tell the distance to those easily. If you ride in the dark, you should definitely go with solid light over blinking!
ОтветитьWhy are you guys setting a good example and having flashers front and back during the day ., Riders are not seen by motorists and its just a matter of time before you are somebody hood ornament
ОтветитьGreat videos !
Please do MTB
Is it bad to ride 8 days straight?
ОтветитьRegarding those Sweet Spot intervals: at what pace should one ride in between the intervals? Active Recovery or Endurance?
ОтветитьI'm trying to cycle a 20 mile route, I can make it 12 miles before I burn out. I cycled to school everyday and college everyday. But since I started working, my bike has not seen the outdoors that much, so I lost so much stamina that I built up. Now I'm trying to get it back
Ответить@globalcyclingnetwork What kind of microphones do you guys use when riding? It's really clear!
Ответитьwho win the national road race championship while still working full time?
ОтветитьGoodness sake Simon, you told us to slam that stem, but these older videos prove you are a hypocrite! Ridiculous.
Ответитьis this filmed in the ardeche ?
Ответитьim planning a 10000 km ride. how do you think i can eat and train for it most effectively ? i have approx 1 year before i start.
Ответитьi have only done a 1500 km ride before but with something as long as 10000, i know the stakes are a lot higher and can use every tip i can get. thanks a lot
ОтветитьI came back to this video after long time. I’m not being judgmental or anything. But I feel that you guys still need to use FUNCTIONAL THRESHOLD POWER in your latest videos than using FTP. Even you guys have grown from smaller and initial videos. Using FTP in recent videos makes a new comer google up for FTP. Sweet spot is again an added confusion to already existing gazillion terminologies. I want you guys to stay true professionals to everyone, Be it a new comer to your channel or a loyal viewer of GCN.
ОтветитьNo one likes to prematurely peak on a sweetspot.
Ответитьi do 2-4 hour fasted rides
ОтветитьOverall I really like your videos! But I have to disagree that training for a long ride, say 5 or 6 hours, can be done but daily and relatively short riding. It has been my experience that you need to have done perhaps several rides no less than 20% or so of your target distance. Regular riding is important but devoting one ride a week to extending your saddle time is critical. So, for a 6 hour ride you should gradually build yourself up to at least 5 hours in the saddle a couple weeks before the ride.
Ответитьwouldn't it help to have some muscle weight for momentum?
ОтветитьJust a minute, I've always used an upcoming long ride as an excuse to spend more time on my bike... Thanks to this video I now need a new excuse 😁
ОтветитьHow were those solace bikes to ride?
ОтветитьMy problem is money for a proper bike. I wanna cycle 2000+ km next year from the Netherlands to Finland, but no money for a damn bike.
I just did 3 days cycling, 100km a day with ease on a shitty bike. I can only imagine riding on a good bike
Is it just me or are their seats super high up? Wth??
Ответитьhello there. i have a dream of doing a 100km ride. i intend to train every day until i am able to do the 100km; increasing distance by the day.
ОтветитьBloody good advise about the sugar. Thanks! 😁
Ответитьif i ride in a fasted state doesn't my body use muslce first before it uses fat?
ОтветитьPlease add subtitle.... That will be helpful for me.
Ответитьwhere was this filmed?
ОтветитьMe I ride 3hrs every day
ОтветитьI don't understand why people count longer rides in distance. I find the defining thing is hours a day. After all, riding takes time and saddle soreness/comfort is the stopper.
ОтветитьSend me your cycle jersey 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
ОтветитьIf you fear sugar, you fear your best performance on the bike
Ответитьis that monaco or somewhere else
ОтветитьThank you.
Ответитьhow much does the XL weigh?
ОтветитьThanks for video guys, what would you recommend for a beginner biker who is trying to learn how to improve, and not get mentality fatigued?
ОтветитьThumbs up
ОтветитьI have a 30 mile cycling event coming this October and hopefully what I’m doing is correct. I ride 8 miles 5 days a week and two days I ride 14.5 miles. Each morning I start the day with my coffee and oatmeal, then lunch lean chicken breast with vegetables and a very light dinner. Usually chicken and veggies or just a bunch of veggies. In 7 weeks I’ve lost 4” around my waist. I was 192lbs however I threw my scale away. Lol, I’m guessing I’m somewhere in the low 180’s now. For reference I’m 5’-11” medium frame.
ОтветитьJust started training done 6 miles with a 641ft elevation climb, Did well for timing too, Going for 10 miles next
ОтветитьGreat advice and thanks for not disrespecting us with stupid ads. Take care
ОтветитьI train myself to ride longer by putting a big piece of cake on some string, suspended from the end of a stick, which I glue to the top of my helmet.
ОтветитьI’m not lying but my plan is when i learn fully to ride a bike bc I’m from Iraq i will try to go to USA-Las Vegas
ОтветитьThe days pass quickly
ОтветитьI will do 300 K before breakfast. I like running off fat I find if I eat food I get cramps and I’m sluggish
