Thank you very much for restoring this! It was originally my father's and he sadly passed away a couple years ago. He used to enjoy watching your videos and would have loved this! Merry Christmas!
ОтветитьThe tiny coffin took me out 😂😭💀⚰️
ОтветитьMerry Christmas odd
ОтветитьBro casually using alien technology to strip paint off something. 👍🏽
ОтветитьHow do I send you something ? I have a cool old antique radio that I would love to get done .
ОтветитьNot the coffin 😂❤
ОтветитьK, now we need to see your motorcycles...
ОтветитьNice restoration, love the hammered paint 👍🏾
ОтветитьThank you I enjoyed your video nice job ...
ОтветитьThe rust/paint removal is always my favourite part. So satisfying.
Ответитьthe laser backpack is cool and all but that prototype Boba helmet is sick
ОтветитьInteresting choice in keeping the original selenium rectifier. They go at random, and they supposedly smell like a horrifyingly bad fart. People just replace them with silicon rectifiers. You have to use a dropping resistor with silicon when replacing selenium for electronics, but I've never seen it done with old car battery chargers. I did it an old car charger, and it worked fine.
Ответитьawww poor ducktor didn't get a bath today
ОтветитьI wonder if that laser cannon thing gets rid of acne?
Mr.Tinkering, plz consider trying it on a piece of steak or chicken..
How do you know how to do all of this? 😅
ОтветитьWatching the laser yeet the rust is so satisfying
ОтветитьThank you for your video 🤩
ОтветитьVery nice work !! I like how you made the new switch very nice touch !! 👍👍 It looks better than new !!!
ОтветитьAm I the only one who doesn't like the laser cleaning, preferring sand/media blasting for cleaning? Excellent video overall!
Ответить?hat did you use to clean the galss from the amp meter?
Ответитьthe craziest one of these i’ve ever seen
Ответитьnice :D
ОтветитьI have been enjoying watching your videos. I like how you bring new life in things people usually throw away.
ОтветитьNICE JOB!!!! The laser paint and rust remover is NEAT!!!! as well.
ОтветитьEven odd tinkering makes mistakes sometimes 😅
ОтветитьWhat motorcycles do you have?
ОтветитьThat little coffin you made got me 😂RIP mummified maggots!
ОтветитьThe author did a great job restoring gaming consoles, but their work with metal is pretty weak. It’s obvious that sandblasting cleans metal better and more thoroughly. The work looks rather amateurish. Take a lesson from my mechanics
ОтветитьMerry Christmas Mr Tinkering
ОтветитьIt is Sunday, december 22nd, 10:30pm local time here and I'm on my way to the Workshop to build this paint can shaker!
ОтветитьGreat Video, if you are restoring viewers things. I have a 1939 typewriter that works but needs a nice restoration.
ОтветитьReally brilliant as usual - but really disappointed he didn't show the making of the maggot coffin! 😢😂😂
ОтветитьВподобайка
ОтветитьTus videos los mejores!
ОтветитьGreat work, but a little bit stupud primitive construction.
BTW, like has been planted :)
beass?
ОтветитьI get that with restoration projects the aim is usually to keep as many of the original parts as possible, but I would have probably changed all the internal cables as well. I would worry about the plastic covering having gone brittle over time from exposure to the elements.
ОтветитьCan you really charge a car battery with the small cable area you have on + and -? Nice restoration. :)
ОтветитьDucking great video. Thank you
Ответитьhave been looking open with mouth, what a craftsmanship, compliments from Amsterdam
Ответить💯👍😊
ОтветитьInteresting restoration of an old school battery charger. Selenium rectifiers are pretty nasty but that one looks to be in good nick. I was surprised to see the rubber grommets were still pliable, I would have thought they would be brittle and crumble when you tried to remove them.
Since this was a restoration you didn't want to change things but the naked fuse holder and lack to strain reliefs on the mains and battery cable come to mind, as did the lack of any insulation on the battery clips.
The drill operated paint shaker was pretty cool. Agree with the posts about modern chargers that detect battery voltage for safety. I modified my with a pushbutton to manually override the detection feature.
Those old battery chargers are perfect for removing rust with electrolysis. I have a rather scary and very old one I use. I'll give it a proper restoration at some point.
ОтветитьMR MAGGOT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-
ОтветитьWith that backpack I thought you were cosplaying Death Stranding for a second there.
ОтветитьHere in Brazil, almost everything is grounded via Bluetooth
