Hey congrats on 100 subs!
ОтветитьDid you play on PS4 or PC? It makes a huge difference that you forgot to mention ;)
ОтветитьYeah, the PC version is a million times better
ОтветитьHey, thanks for the review, you gained a sub, check.out my channel.if you get chance
ОтветитьI was surprised to see all the graphics issues you faced in your game. I played through this on the PC and not once did I have any issues with 'popping' graphics, or stuttering or anything like that. It's sad that it looks like it wasn't optimized for console too well. I highly recommend that you try it out on PC <3
ОтветитьSo it’s not like call of durty.. ok I’m out wait... owl people? Lemme grab my thc
ОтветитьEastshade on PS4 is ONE BIG graphic mess! How could they release it in such sloppy state?
ОтветитьSo I should buy the steam version...?
ОтветитьI agree, I bought this on Steam to play on my iMac because it claimed to be supported. However, as soon as I tried to launch it I got the message that it was NOT supported! So I bought it on PS4. It ran fine for a while but as you did, I also had multiple freezes, and the graphics were very poor. I also hated the fact that the quest log didn’t prevent dialogue recurring after quests were complete. The game was a great idea but poorly finished. The ending had a lovely unexpected twist as you enter your home which was genius and got several brownie points from me. I would hesitate to buy another game from Eastshade studios though.
ОтветитьI think calling this game a walking sim is doing it a disservice. It's not a walking simulator. It's a sandbox exploration game. Hell, I'm tempted to call it an adventure game. Just because you don't swing a sword doesn't mean it isn't an adventure game. You go on quests, you craft items, you help people, you explore, discover secrets, etc. Modern games have so often continued to give us a hammer to solve our problems in videogames, that nowadays we as players see everything as a nail. But it's not. It's possible to go on an adventure where nobody gets hurt. And that's Eastshade. I can not applaud the game enough for its rejection of modern quest design and its wholly original gameplay loop.
ОтветитьThe PS4 port is dreadful. The worst port I have played in the 7 yrs of owning a PS4. Hope PS5 really is next gen and we won't see this dreadfulness.
ОтветитьGraphics look sharper on YT?
Ответитьthe walking looks like floating.
ОтветитьThe PC version is so much better (but still not perfect) especialy with the SSAO (which the console versions seems to lack) where you can just see the moonlight reflecting of the lake in a beautiful way
ОтветитьThe word is "aesTHetic", not "astetic."
It's pronounced like 'ess-thetic.'
It's a good and relaxing game that tries something different. It looks good on PC, a bit static though. Performance could be better. Good review overall. It's 'tedious', just mentioning it.
ОтветитьI wonder if playing on the Series X will help pop-in by loadig faster.
ОтветитьImagine what could've been if they made it in Unreal and with the level of detail that Vanishing of Ethan Carter had. I am enjoying it on console but the technical issues can be frustrating. Hope we see an enhanced version for Series X and PS5.
ОтветитьDoes anybody know if this is coming out on switch
ОтветитьGreat review man! 👍🏻
Ответитьit got that Skyrim vibe, looks cool. got that runescape/skyrim music too
