I first saw Will Hunt play in a band called Eli in Muscle Shoals Alabama in the 90's

Will is a drummer who has not only played on many tours but also has many recording credits. He gets many calls for studio time as well

Love his ease and emotion. And yes we in the audience watch the drummers. My last show was Motley in 2014 so that’s funny. Didn’t know he was in MoM. Tommy has always been fun to watch. Their kick off show for the final tour in Grand Rapids MI, was delayed Because Tommy broke a drum. Then in Nashville he got stuck upside down in his roller coaster the Crucifly(?) but he played different music while airborne other than Motley. I believe he even played Jay Z but don’t quote me. Great show

The thing with all the fallen song in the studio version is that they weren't even a band when recording the full album, they label used a radio drummer and a radio bassist to fill the band in the album. So Josh Freese the radio drummer, replaced all the programming and beats Amy and Ben did in protools bc they used to wokr like that for several years, since Ev was more like a duo with Ben and Amy inviting random musicians to play into their songs, so Fallen drums are basic bc it was played more like to fill the void of not using programming. They hired the rest of the band when the album was being remastered to start touring, bc even tho Amy and Ben were great musician they really didn't used to play live other than the local cafeteria using a track to fill in the lack of a drummer.Will Hunt gave life to the band, honestly the first drummer Rocky Gray was too gray, he didn't add anything in The Open Door neither, whereas Will Hunt made Evanescence 2011 selftitled album sound like a hell of a good band record bc of him and Troy being in the band giving it all.

EV haters say Hunt is nothing but a show boat. Ok. But he's a show boat who can play. And play pretty darn well.
