Buffer Space For The Bees

I want to know more about the queen being up there was she meant to be, the supers underneath are they just ready to rock and roll when you need them or was this colony a demaree?

Morning my bees are really busy today already. I was wondering if I should remove my reducer bar completely with the weather as it is?

lol i've done this utilising my multipurpose crown boards, to buy a bit of time, also a good way to get a few extra foragers into a split without shaking off frames.

Brilliant idea i love how easy these feeders are to use adding another use sounds great. Quick question Ive just dropped a brand new empty abelo poly hive brood box and super two sides have sliced off of each any glue or tape recommendations?

Adding these to my shopping list ready for the next sale.....

Hi Lawrence, thank you for the great idea! Thanks to your previous videos about an ideal hive I have some ashforth feeders😊 and I love them. The only problem they get mouldy.

Why can’t you just put an empty medium box with a cover for the extra space that you’re talking about?

Many years ago I bought up all the equipment from a bee keeper that was giving up and that included 15 Ashforth feeders - I had never met one before but wow what a useful bit of kit. I'm so glad I have had the use of them for many years now. And they keep on giving!
