I like how she actually tries to SERVE the song rather than just playing a whole lot of nonsense over the song like some of the others have done in their attempts.

It's easy to just play really fast on top of the chorus, and the singers as the Pianote people just laugh and gawk in amazement. However, their attempts don't serve the song as Jemma did in this video.

What I like the most about this challenge was the respect that she had for a good song and it actually was a great song. I truly enjoyed it back in the days and still.

Sad that she's never heard of Huey Lewis, but awesome that she's so talented and was able to make such a classic and great song sound so good and different.

I refuse to believe that this is the first time she's heard that song, because that would mean she's never seen Back To The Future, and if that's true, she can go to hell.

Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.

You can tell that she’s educated, but there’s a lack of skill and creativity to make it extraordinary. Looks too much likd she’s trying, but not owning it, I’m sorry.

I love how her interepretation changed the whole mood of the song, now as i´m older gives me that old vibe as in listening in retrospective reminiscing for those times. loved it.

I guess, from now on, I will play Gemma’s version with my band….ok maybe I add a few minor adjustments, but the result is awesomely good! 😍

This idea for a topic has blown me away, seriously, Being a musician vocalist.This has got to be the most insane way for getting ideas for great material. It's interesting how her chord structure at times and rhythm came really close to the bass in the song which drives the whole song.

When I see these videos with "musician hears for first time" or "reacting to this song for the first time", I think these people live in a cave or under rocks. I'm mexican, veterinarian, in my 40's and for sure I have heard that song many many times.

Who would have believed that music as bad as Karol G's had artists of such high quality at its disposal like Jemma? We are definitely in decline, and reggaeton, urban music and trap have corroded everything.

I love Huey Lewis and The News and like alot of people of a certain age love this song (Back to the Future) . I would love to listen to this version, different but just close enough.
