Hypocrisy is such a negative term to me, but I have to watch myself as well. Someone it's easy to justify my thoughts or my words when they really need to be put under the microscopic view that this verse presents.
Forgive me Lord for the thoughts or words I have spoken that have been hypocritical.
Thank You God for being our God of second and third chances.

Wtf is god doing when innocent children and animals are being kidnapped raped tortured and killed on a daily basis worldwide ?

If god does not allow evil why does he or she whatever it is not do anything to stop the crime ?

What does giving those who harm others free will have to do with the victims ?

God hates hypocrisy and we must desist from it. God wants our yes to be yes and no as no. Honourable people count the cost of all things before venturing into it as scripture admonished,including not being hasty to make vows and tell the angel it was a mistake. We cannot claim to want something and not go for it,neither claim its not good enough yet holding on to it refusing to give it away,like a man who engages a woman and keep wasting her time,yet occupying the space other can take over. We must always count the cost and not after putting hand to the plough then looking back. If you change your mind,then give it up and let it go as proof its not needed. A man cannot have a thousand and one to choose from and insist on holding on to one he's not satisfied with,that's gross hypocrisy. Nor counting cost after commitment. That's dishonourable act and hypocrisy.
God only chase people who have covenanted with him and not fulfilling their terms. So he gets them to fulfill it by all means. God has no delight in vow of fools ,he said.
We must always first count the cost and abide on the level we can afford to meet.
