ОтветитьDon't keep up with Joneses... 😎👍 Great advice, Luke.
Ответить👍🏻
ОтветитьWhat "Luke v Black" means?
ОтветитьGood, sound advice.
ОтветитьI do everything I can to save so I can invest more. I own an 07 Jeep, and still have the same cloths Ive either been given or have had since high school/college. Im 31 now and prefer this way of doing things.
ОтветитьSaw your channel and really like the topic.. new subs😊
ОтветитьAgree, absolutely. Also, eschew ego, adopt humility.
ОтветитьAs a rich, I enjoy driving my luxury car and wearing my luxury clothes. Don't take those advices, get your swag once you become rich. You will feel like a boss and it will only encourage you to continue being rich. That being said, poor people that buy luxury things are loosers.
ОтветитьIt is good to buy some "Wealthy stuff". Because you are not going to e.g. drive a 2006 car LOL.
ОтветитьI buy my clothes suit included from the thrift store. Granted I am actually poor but even I know that its a good idea to live below your means. Granted technology is a little different but when I spend $1000 on a phone, it WILL last me 5 years.
Ответить69 watches! Perfect!
ОтветитьOk ✅
ОтветитьGarbage man with 4 Houses + $350,000 457/401k + Online Trading Account $100,000 = RICH 100%

ОтветитьGOD loves you enough to send HIS only SON to save you and if you repent and turn from your sins and be baptized in THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT. ((if you haven't )
ОтветитьThis channel is amazing how can this channel has only 1k subscriber😮
Ответитьi minute into this video...."the millionaire next door" by Thomas J Stanley
ОтветитьThe best side effect of looking like a broke dick is the fact that there’s not a single gold digger out there that’ll even look in your direction!
ОтветитьThe truth no one tells you about money is, money can't buy you happiness (this is a fact) but it doesn't mean money doesn't create an avenue for you to have the time to experience happiness. Every retired person actually enjoying their money experiences life in a way you can't understand. They wake up when they feel like, they spend more time with their families, they are more actively involved in their children or grandchildren's lives. I'm going to achieve this level of comfort and peace of mind and it can only come from financial security. i'm currently working on a perfect retirement plan with my FA Olivia rene reyes and in 10 years i'd retire and make up for all the times i lost when my kids were young. wish me luck!
ОтветитьIt is so easy to spot those that want to portray the illusion of having lots of money. I find it sad that they feel the need to look like they are "keeping up with the Jones's"
ОтветитьNever flaunt your wealth, you’ll get a show of hands and I don’t mean a round of applause, I’m talking about 💁🏻♂️🫴PLEEEEEAAAASSSSEEEE???!!!
Ответить10 oz of gold will be worth more in ten years than buying that new car right now. Stop trying to impress people you barely know with stuff you cant afford.
ОтветитьWow I haven’t seen one of you videos in a long time. The last time you had a big crush of the terrible investor Cathy woods. Who I followed and lost a ton of money from her funds I bought. Nobody else’s fault but my own falling for another guru who isn’t. Anybody can look like a guru when the markets are soaring. Now I finally stopped that nonsense of believing in gurus. But they get all the media attention when they have their lucky winning streak. Thankfully I did learn a technique on my own of selling option contracts that helped me claw my way back. I am wealthy ( for my lifestyle and financially independent) but definitely don’t look like it. 2008 nice dependable Honda, massive retirement portfolio ( once again for my lifestyle) nice outside investments, paid off mortgage. Assets over 2 million. I look like from my clean but not fancy clothes of no special name brands I’d say if I was evaluating myself like a getter by paycheck to paycheck and that’s about how -people treat me so my guise is working. Only ones who probably know I’m in pretty good shape is my neighbors I assume because it’s an upper middle class neighborhood. And I’m retired I’ve been retired even before earliest possibility of ss collecting which I will take as soon as possibly to have 3 sources of passive monthly income. Never made 100k in any year of working. Studied investing seriously at the age of approximately 28 yrs old. If an old laborer in construction can do this well, then young people with their college degree and educated minds should be able to trump my accomplishments by 3 to 4 times seriously. God bless
Ответитьyou do you... I was flexing to get to my goals and succeeded. I'm happier and wealthier now.
ОтветитьSo true
ОтветитьDoes driving a 20 year old Mercedes count? (W211 E class)
ОтветитьAll my rich friends are not trying to look wealthy, they are. They never deprived themselves of what they liked and wanted either. Just didn’t spend more than they made, found ways of increasing their income and invested consistently. They look great, have AP’s, dress sharp(their wives too), travel often, have the freedom, help others, contribute etc. So with all due respect, I understand it’s your opinion but I’ll follow their plan and continue to enjoy my life, travel, and the finer things in life as well while young and when also when I’m old :) I would hate to treat and enjoy myself and my family only until after retirement or when I’m old. But great advice for those that wish to be conservative and play more on the “super safe side”. Just my opinion.
ОтветитьSomehow missed this gem a few weeks ago, but noticed it today! Loving the new channel just as much as your original channel... Both are top notch! Thanks Luke!
Ответить95% of wealthy people don’t flaunt their wealth.
One of my favorite scriptures ❤
No one you are subconsciously trying to impress will not pay your electric bill consistently.
I’d love to have a flip phone again.
Yes. Focus your dollars on being wealthy.
ОтветитьI think when you develop an I don’t care attitude wrt to social pressures you pretty much already won at life.
ОтветитьI personnaly know four multi-millionnaires. All of them are entrepreneurs, but what unites them is serious and hard work. In fact they work so hard and so much (in quantity!) that there quite simply is no use in acting as though they are from some silver-spoon family or ''have it all'', because there were plenty of times when they did not and they know there may be such times in the future once they squander it.
One is a duo of plumbers. They are brothers and inherited the business from their father -who worked well beyond 60 years in it. They expanded the business in such a way that they moved away from plumbing in some sense by also offering all sorts of household maintenance, such as roof-proofing, etc. -Plumbing was always the standard, though.
Another of them is a local manufacturer of industrial machinery who went international in the 80's. The founder is in his late 70's and still works in the business.
And then there's one in the neighbouring village (This is in South Germany... Even the smallest villages have some sort of industry going on) who made his fortune building and painting walls. It's a mix of masonry and painting if you will. The man is in his 60's and still works in the business.
It goes without saying that these people have come too far for too much to settle for so little. A Ferrari, a huge house or a 50k watch are not going to cut it after that journey. But sons to inherit and further lead the enterprise? That is what is important, and that is what they have focused on. The most expensive car any of these own is a 1980's Porsche 911 turbo in pristine condition, that goes for a drive every week or so during summer, but that's it... 40, 50, 60 years of work for that? Surely not! And this is the reality for most ''rich people''.
Best thing anyone can do is avoid people because people are as toxic as 3 mile island. It doesn't matter how you dress because people always want what you got. They are jealous as hell. If you dress down then people say you are cheap and trying to hide your money. I've met people like this. They are angry and bitter because they are bad with money and they spent all their money and now they want someone else's money.
ОтветитьCheck out the book The Millionaire Next Door.
ОтветитьRich pple dun give a #!*% what others think about them .
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьStill drive around the car we bought when my wife and I got married 10 years ago. It was a beater then and now you can imagine it is a major beater now. In the process of buying a rental home before buying a nice car.
ОтветитьI try to look nondescript. Neither rich nor poor.
ОтветитьProverbs 13:7
One pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth.
Credit where it is due
This describes me. I don't spend much on myself, so I have freedom moving forward.
ОтветитьLook poor die with imaginary friends. Damn it why they always forget to explain the downsides 😂

ОтветитьGood video, thanks
ОтветитьRetired at 48 and drive a Subaru. I wanted a nice car, but not a showy car. I find showy cars vulgar and I would be embarrassed to own one.
