Sea scapes are my fave, but I think architecture in older cities are extremely interesting. Budapest must have been amazing to capture historic architecture ❤

Why did you say that you did not have liquid allowance? Couldn’t you have just chucked the paints into the hold baggage? I don’t think there is any liquid limits on those.

I think I prefer the mountains and the sea. I would love to do a cityscape en plein air, but I am intimidated by the thought.

I prefer cityscapes 🌆 because I do appreciate the architecture, although it's still a hard choice because I see beauty everywhere. What a lovely family you have, you cant beat treasured memories with family, thank you for sharing, love the direction you are taking with Sketches and scrubs. You shine ✨

Definitely Cities, if on holiday....we have spectacular beaches in Aus, so i think the architecture in different cities is amazing. I love your energy and your infectious laugh and smile. Glad you had a wonderful time x Nell

I prefer cityscapes over beachscapes if drawing. However, I prefer beachscapes over cityscapes when on vacation.

I'm from Miami so I love both city and seascapes, though I prefer to paint seascapes over cityscapes because it's less buildings to draw lol. So glad you had an amazing trip; sisters are the best 🥰

I personally love beaches to stay at as I absolutely love the ocean. But I also really enjoy looking at mountains and their views, I never get bored of them.

It feels so amazing to see someone approach the act of creation exactly like me! All my artistic abilities I owe to the inspiration the outside environment selflessly gives out to us.

I’m not religious but I wouldn’t say I’m not spiritual and I can relate to your love of churches even little churches and temples always catch my eye and I’ve visited many churches in Italy they’re so beautiful

What a lovely trip. My partner is hungarian and we go back and forth a couple of times a year. Hungary is very famous for their natural bath in beautiful caves. It is a really nice place to visit. I hope you had a good time. That watercolour artwork was incredible❤

It must be so lovely to have family near..my family is scattered across the globe lol. I think I prefer city breaks, but equally there’s something about being near an ocean that lifts my spirits. 😊

I tend to prefer beach scapes as I struggle with city scapes as I've never really painting them but I'm pushing myself to practice them more. I think historic buildings out be fun to paint.

Just saying, if you love cathedrals; Ely, York, Lincoln, Durham and Canterbury are all well worth a visit. :)

Now that’s a reason to have siblings, fabulous birthday trips 😂. That was so sweet of your family and such a lot of work to plan (and keep the secret from you)! I really want to take a trip somewhere with seaside views and beautiful architecture. Instead, my next trip is to the desert… I know there will still be fun things to paint there, just not necessarily my dream subjects 😅. Looks like you had an amazing birthday weekend!! (I’d almost be hesitant to seek out art stores while traveling because I can just imagine seeing more than I could fit in my luggage…)
