I spent hours on the MyScene website, but I never owned the dolls. I had Polly Pocket, Barbie, American Girls (a custom and babydoll), and Groovy Girls. Betty Spagetty looks extremely familiar so I might’ve played with one at a sleepover. Polly Pocket was my favorite. I had a magnetic one that I loved to stick everywhere. Bratz was for the fashion girlies, and that was never me. But I do remember liking the live-action Bratz movie (watched it at someone’s sleepover), even though my conservative parents weren’t happy to know I watched it. 😂

OMG I was obsessed with bratz I think I had 16 bratz dolls + 3 bratz babies 😂😂😂😂

Hey I liked the bratz movies! Lol 😂. They also had the two video games on ps2 (literally in the first one there's a claires and pics of aly and aj) that were super fun! They were a strong brand. Just not around for as long as barbie had already existed and continued. Also I liked polly pocket and even got a haircut based on one lol

I remember questioning the name Bratz when I was about eight. I didn’t have my own, but I did play with my friends' ones. I remember my friend Shannon bringing Sasha, Cloe and Yasmin over (she probably didn't have Jade).

I desperately wanted an american girl doll when i was younger. I had the Meet Addy book and i loved that thing with my entire heart and soul.

I was deathly obsessed with liv dolls and had probably 50 of them! I adored their glass eyes and hair as a kid who grew up influenced by emo stuff I always cut and coloured their hair how I wish I could at that age. Huge part of my childhood :)

I would love a part 2 covering doll lines of the 2010s!

MyScene is perfection ! They are the perfect mix between Barbie and Bratz dolls. I love them so much, they're so pretty and fashionable. Also there is diversity in the characters : Madison being African American, Nolee being Japanese, Nia being Latina, and even the boys !! River is latino, Sutton is British, etc etc...

Polly Pocket was my fav growing up and, American Girl dolls!! They weren’t as expensive as they’re nowadays. My mom told me a story everywhere, I went as a kid Polly and, her clothes went with me to beach or a friend’s house!!💗 I also loved Kirsten, Nellie, and, Julie my sister had Kit and Samatha.

myscene definitely started as a way to compete with bratz, but i think they ultimately lost out when because they became too CLOSE to bratz. the early lineless style is so distinctively y2k and looks SO GOOD, and just makes the second wave look like a bratz knockoff. the first wave had the best games and webisodes by far. even the barbie fashionistas which replaced myscene was better than the second wave.

Id hated having dolls that where someone… It was MY doll! So i should get to decide who she was and what she liked

barbie was always just so boring to me as a child like no personality i always loved bratz or monster high dolls

I had almost all of these dolls growing up and I loved all of them equally. I only have my American Girl dolls and their furniture/clothes/accessories, but I have fond memories of all the dolls I owned.
