Interestingly enough my first two cars were white pearl.
ОтветитьBeautiful kine is Eminem purple white
ОтветитьThat's a Jetta
ОтветитьNow the reason white pearls cost more is because there are three layers so you have a ground layer of white then you have the second layer which is translucent Pearl, and then you have the clear coat on top so effectively you’re using twice as much colour to paint the car and three layers can be matched exactly if the effort and time was put into matching
ОтветитьMica = child labor mining.😢
ОтветитьI painted alot of cars Wimbledon white, and alot thought it was pearl, cheap, looks like a pearl job, easy to match.
ОтветитьIt's only one reason that color is popular.
ОтветитьMetallic is in the base coat not Metallic spayed over the color
ОтветитьSo its much better a straight color paint.. than PEARL ONES.. ITS MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE THAN STRAIGHT COLOR ONES..😊
ОтветитьEsto es un comercial de tv 📺 ke. No
ОтветитьMy pearl paint just chips right off the car.
ОтветитьDo Mazda soul red next
Ответитьim actually a spray painter ..just did a Mazda color code 43k white pearl it has white pearl and a gold pearl in a clear binder its a horrible color putting the 2nd layer over the ground coat color ,,,always is impossible to match perfectly ..thats why i do blending or a complete side blend .i hate being a auto refinisher ..everything needs to be perfect .
ОтветитьAre you dm?
ОтветитьAs a car detailer, I hate this colour so much. It's easy to burn through when cutting/polishing and colour matching is near impossible. I now quote impossible prices so I don't have to touch them.
ОтветитьFree on BMW
Ответить"Metallic flakes over basecoat "
Before your post videos, learn WTF you're talking about first!!
Because they made it so you have to special order it , then they can charge you what they want for the paint lol
ОтветитьThis color is expensive because pearls are expensive 😊
ОтветитьSo where’s the difference with a black pearl paint ?
ОтветитьWhen doing a touch up it's the ground colour that you blend because the pearl is so transparent it's not that hard to do
ОтветитьThe video and comments are all bullshit. People who don't know anything outside of a Google search need to sit down and keep to playing with their crayons. "pearls" are nothing compared to the quad coats that are out these days and I'll take a pearl to paint any day and have perfectly matched thousands myself
ОтветитьBought a Sienna with blizzard pearl, just $500 more. The paint looks indeed MUCH better than the basic white.
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьMercedes calls it diamond white. It's beautiful, but I took the polar white. It cost 2K less and with all of the touch ups and bumper painting, the match is fine. I got over it.
ОтветитьYour wrong about everything. Nice job
ОтветитьWhy do floor mats cost extra?
ОтветитьSee all the people painting that car this is simply because it's cheap labor to get those robots to labor for less coinage
ОтветитьMy wife hates white colored cars. We already have one. When I bought another (used) car, much to her dismay, it was also white. I was a little disappointed because I know the car I bought was available in pearl white but ours is ice white, just like our other Volvo. As an amateur detailer, I would have loved to have the pearl white to polish and wax.
ОтветитьAnd the best part is white paint on cars is one of the most common colors to flake and peel off.
ОтветитьIt's because of demand 😂
There are lots of white options before but people prefer other colors, that's why other colors back then is expensive than white, now too much other colors surfaced, so they came back to wanting white 😅
bullshit. a dozen or so years ago white was the cheapest color and no one had any theories about it. now for unknown reasons it has become fashionable and so many fairy tales are invented. the same with physical buttons on the cockpit. they used to be the norm, then tablets and screens appeared, they said, oh god it must be more expensive... recently NCAP confirmed that physical buttons are safer and many people want them, and what? corporations are playing fools out of us again and saying, yes, ok, but buttons are costs, it must be more expensive.
ОтветитьGood to know, now I'll avoid white pearl.
ОтветитьBMW did use real mother of pearl from abalone and took too many threatening the species
ОтветитьJokes on you, i know a paint shop that knows their stuff
ОтветитьPearl also requires a different spray technique even for robotic manufacturing so there goes extra costs.
ОтветитьFun fact: purple and blue colours used to be expensive.
So pearl paint will eventually become cheap😅
You mean, rat flakes?
ОтветитьI was a ase painter years ago. Seeing robots painting is odd. Still cant match the human. Orange peel still on new vehicles 😢
ОтветитьAs a former owner od a pearl car, i can say FACTS!
ОтветитьThank you
Ответить👍👍❤
ОтветитьThe reason glitter once used by little girls at parties are no longer around is because the car industry uses them in car paints to make their paint shiny.
