ОтветитьIve got a 1978 westfalia
ОтветитьI'm guessing the 'Sexy Senior Citizen' on the back fender to the bug refers to the bug? Surely you are not that old. Though I wouldn't call bugs sexy...
Ответитьhello from belfast
ОтветитьLove the channel and the VWs! Sooooome day I’m gonna have me a Bug lol. Fell in love from the first time I drove my uncle’s bug. (And for the life of me I can’t remember what year it was...not old enough to be an oval or split though.)
ОтветитьA few things. Do you have issues with ethanol fuel and the original braided line? I have been looking for “rated” braided fuel line and it seems you have to order it from abroad. I haven’t had any issues so far with my braided German lines. Another question. Besides safety wire, and not using Brosol carbs, have you found a fix for that pickup tube?
It looks like you are using those crappy flaps hose clamps. if you use fuel hose clamps you want the good ones that look like McMaster Carr 5574K12. Oh and “replace those fuel lines, and clamps!”
You had me at puppy and Volkswagens! Lol man I need a bus in my collection! Sweet rides I look forward 2 catching up on your vids!
ОтветитьI have a camper van not sure what I want to do with was changing it from fuel injection to carb but life happened... also have a 71 super beetle my sister gave me. Or we where told it was a super beetle
ОтветитьMan I have a 67 bug my parents bought for me when I was 13. Me and dad restored it. I still have it. I restored it again 12 years ago. All new engine interior brakes paint etc. hurricane came and broke out window and dented it up. It has sat untouched ever since. Now parents are sick and I don’t have to to restore it again. Would’ve been cool to drive parents around again in it. But so busy now with everything else. Suks but that is life I guess. I’m a new subscriber. Cool video you did for your daughter with the 56. Did you finish it?
