Omelets are basics 101. And if you are in the swing with a hot flat top you can churn them out by the dozen in just a few minutes. Even pan cooking omelets takes 4-5 minutes depending on how hot the pan is.

Gordon acts like everyone is paying $600 for one of his Walmart hotdogs. Not everyone is being ripped off and scammed by restaurants. Sometimes the quality matches the price.

If I wanted an old Omelet from yesterday, I could do this at home! Unacceptable!

It takes only a few minutes to make an omelette. It might take up to ten if you have to sauté some vegetables or cook proteins.

Better not get an omelette that's runny in the center. I don't hold out much hope. I saw how this dude cooks scrambled eggs.

To be fair Gordon doesn't know what good food is. He's a marketing genius, not a world class chef. Most of the ideas he promotes are just publicity gimmicks. This is the kind of guy who doesn't sell medium or well done steaks, so he's wasting every steak his restaurants cook so he can be a part of the primal fetish bandwagon trend.

Id almost rather a microwaved omelette than anything ramsay does for his. That man is on another level for everything else he does, but should leave eggs to people who know what DONE means. Runny egg in any capacity goes back in the pan till its cooked. And this is the only thing he does like that that just doesnt work
