Root Branch Media Remembers the late Honorable Sheila Jackson Lee

Root Branch Media Group mourns the loss of the late Honorable Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. We were fortunate enough to capture this footage and be in her presence last year during the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference 2023.

She will forever be remembered as a remarkable leader who dedicated her life to championing equality, reparations, and the empowerment of our communities. Her passion and unwavering commitment has left an indelible mark on countless lives.

Today, we honor her legacy by continuing to uplift the voices she fought so hard to represent. The last words in this clip left each of us with a charge and we shall carry that mantle and her legacy shall live on.
