Very interesting Steve! Good luck on your foresting journey. Quick question, what initially drew you to Maine as a location?
ОтветитьIs Harrington close to Portland?
ОтветитьGive it up for Maine!
ОтветитьThat's awesome mate, what a great step for your business. Our natives are generally extremely slow growing so plantations are few. I'd love to see commercial bush 'parks' set up instead of ugly miles and miles of radiata pine😥Probably aint gonna happen though.
ОтветитьAwesome 👏🏻 a big positive 👍🏼
ОтветитьMane is not far from us... We are in Ontario around Algonquin Park area forestry is a big thing here.... I'm proud we do not clear cut in Ontario we harvest the trees we want and leave the rest so the forest grows back strong and fast with biodiversity... Nice to have you around
ОтветитьNew here keep grinding
Ответитьgreat job, we support sustainable resources

ОтветитьI was stationed in Worcester, Mass back in mid 70's and traveled to Maine several times. Climbed Mount Katahdin , saw the Allagash River and visited Old Town, ME. You ought to stop in Old Town, Maine where they hand made Old Town canoes. Fascinating! I don't know if the canoe company is still there (along the Penobscot River) but it was fun to see their various hand made wooden canoes. That's where I saw a massive wooden hand built canoe that appeared to be 20 feet long. The proprietor was very cordial and entertained our novice questions (smile). Have a fine weekend.
ОтветитьNice video Steve, and welcome to Maine... smilz
