This is One of the reasons i picked up the Ukulele 6 years ago. When I saw Mike Live in Germany all his gear got lost on the flight and he still performed all his Songs in the best way possible - witha guitar he never touched before and frozen fingers ( sunrise in germany about 6 degrees celsius). recently mike love come to Brasil in a free show, and for the first time I entered in contact with songs of him. he played this music, and make me felt so much. In the last year, I losed my grandfather for a degenerative ilness, and not only it, I've lost everything I thought I'm since this moment, and been opened to the new. See he singing this song bring me in the first moment a desire to cry, but in the process I lost it, and been surrender to a feeling that "life goes on", like a opened heart that is fills with hapiness, sadness, afraid and love. the path still here, and I felt every part of my path since I come here. it shows me that I'm in the right place, doing the right thing. A experience of self and espiritual (the perfect duality), and even in the chaos, the sensation that everything will be alright. thank you for your music, Mike. thank you for your art.
