The poinsettia card with the finger painting was definitely my favourite. At first I thought it looked a bit messy, but with all the build up of the colours it was just stunning. I've never used lunar paste - I may just have to get some now!

Why do you brayer the darkest color first? I was taught to go from lightest to darkest to protect the ink pads.

On the raised snowflake embossing folder design, the ink and roller gives an impression of the Northern Lights.

And the Lunar pastes are absolutely grogeous, I'll have to give those a try. We need Spellbinders in the EU please :)

could that paste you are using with bare fingers be toxic. do you use a barrier cream, or could you use gloves to protect your body from toxins. Even acrylic paint has toxins. so please be careful with inks and paste. I loved the technique where you showed us how to add color on both sides of the finished embossed card. as well as how to focus the overall card by darkening the edges. will your 3 d folders work on the Sizzix die cutting machine. called the Big shot? I bought some from a UK company their folders wont go into my machine as they are too thick. Thank you very much for all the tips and techniques you taught here. One of the reasons I mention safety using paint impregnated prouducts is the heavy metals they use to make paint with is highly toxic and can get into your blood stream in myrid number of ways, touching your fingers to the lips or eye or haveing a cut on your finger or even cuticle. Toxicity is something you need to care about.
