this is so overcomplicated and simultaneously inaccurate lol
ОтветитьI love a Dragon in heat
~MSI User
i went from i5-9400F to amd 7600 and holy shit its so much warmer in my room. Overall im kinda dissapointed... on paper 2x better processor but i dont really see the diffrence.
ОтветитьTDP refers to thermal energy, not electrical energy.
AMD tjmax=95c
Intel tjmax=100c - less thermal resistance - less cooler thermal power dissipation
I'm sorry, guys, but this video is so wrong and stupid
ОтветитьWhat happened to the AD section at the begining? I remember that there was an AD after Andy yells. Or ám I in a strange Mandela effect here? 😅
Ответитьevery AMD chip I ever had ran hotter than any Intel chip Ive had.
ОтветитьAMD Ryzen 3800X is almost unplayable in low spec indy games like Valheim, Subnautica, and higher games like Death Stranding, Fallout 76, et al. Using Scythe Fuma 2 air cooler.
ОтветитьHow bout Solid State active cooling?
ОтветитьAmd is not good in pakistan specially in hot weather
Ответитьplot twist: you need to overclock the Ryzen to get the full potential and became hotter.
ОтветитьQuestion, I wonder if the water cooling system would still work and run a CPU Cooler using Automotive coolant lol
ОтветитьSince thermal breakdown is one the worse thing that can happen to computers, cars and humans, its best that they develop an effective and efficient cooling system needed for the Job. I do not know what type of cooling system each brand use...
ОтветитьMe:Intel! net off the market! you are non-power loser! AMD! give me whole stock of any Ryzen 5beacouse its the best powerhouse to price! Intel just scams us all!
Intel: OH SH*T! IM SCREWED!
AMD: ohohoohho this is what i call customer!
Tell him, Andy!
Ответитьnew video idea. we tested which manufacturer makes a hotter CPU by cooking ramen.
Ответитьlol try to make instant ramen using CPU
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьOld 125W AMD Phenom II 1090T is here. Overclock and overvolt on 3.8 GHz with all cores at max. speed and load without throttling. I realy dont know how much is TDP at this situation?! Temperature under 100% load is stable at 60 degeee celsius.
ОтветитьAnd then intel releases the 10900k which is just a CPU version of an industrial flamethrower.
ОтветитьSo should I trust my processor when measuring temperature or not? How can I make sure that the measurements of my processor are alright?
ОтветитьStainless metal cup will still be magnetic, it's not that pure bro
ОтветитьDidn't y'all use an insulated cup at first?
ОтветитьOk but is missleading information, because you are talking about heat in Desktop CPU wich is not near in a Laptop CPU. Now do a video with the same test in laptop.
Ответить-That's impossible I have seen intel i5 8gen at 40-50 degrees operating normally and amd R5 3gen 80-90 operating normally... Sooo....
-Homer: What did you just see Lisa? What did you just see!
XD
Wow, that big headed "Drink Up" edit was a lateral spit take.
Ответить2019: Linus: Who runs hotter?
2022: Intel: Me!!!!!!!
I was a intel user for a long time. Im glad i switched to the way better brand (AMD).
ОтветитьThe most important value would be power per instruction. That would effectively be the amount of work done "Tiles" vs power usage.
Add to that the amount of time they have to run.
It doesn't matter much if both CPUs use lets say 90 watts over an hour. If at 40 minutes one of them is done doing the work and the other is still working at the hour to complete the same task the one that finished the job early is the one that saves the most money. Given you said Intel was at 1300 tiles complete vs AMD at 1900 AMD would be hands down the better CPU. Even if the it did use 10 watts more that difference is nothing compared to the work completed in time. You are looking at a 10% difference in power vs a 32% difference in work done. The 32% wins out. It will save you more money by completing the work earlier.
ryzen rocks
ОтветитьThe reason I didn't bought an AMD Ryzen back in 2018 was because I needed a cooler fan to run it while the Intel i5 6500 processor I bought only uses its generic thermal sink and fan.
ОтветитьIm kinda confused why they did not apply thermal grease on the cpu before putting the cup on
ОтветитьPro tip: watch this at 1.25x, this man stops unnecessarily everywhere for dramatic effects
ОтветитьIn my country the average temperature in summer is in between 40° to 47°. What should we suppose to do 🤔😅
Ответитьanyone whos use both AMD and intel knows Intel runs like a space heater So in the winter to save on heating bill remove side panel and instant saving
ОтветитьI have a 10600k it runs at 65 watts and 65°C at full stock turbo speeds. The chip has a TDP of 125watts and a Tjunction of 100°C; the point when the CPU throttles. This contradicts everything you said relevant to this.
Ответитьhmm you could math it
Ответитьwait its not like 105W and 105W out?
ОтветитьI'm confused why you didn't just measure the power used at the outlet... That's basically just a 99% heat efficiency conversion..
ОтветитьReallity is debatable now? How much power the cpu consumes ? Multimeter => measure I and V => W = IxV. Heat? Infrared camera + Thermometer = answer.
Ответитьx86 processors be like my dementia is worse than yours so I win.
M1, looks on at the boomers and shakes his head..
You guys are so worried on 35 degrees my core I 5 is always on 80 degrees on 70 load
ОтветитьI like bread.
ОтветитьI thought if you have 65W TDP CPU 3GHz base clock that means if you run it 100% load at 3GHz than you need 65W cooler to keep runing under thermal throtling temperature where Intel CPU can maintain higher temperature than AMD and thats why you can see diference in power draw.
Ответить
