Whenever you ask someone what makes the Marvel Cinematic Universe the GOAT of the Comic Book Movie genre, the answer will always be characters. When somebody asks me what is the MCU, I would not call it just one world, but an expanding universe where multiple characters and individual stories co-exist, cooperate, and coincide. When we met Captain America, we saw a kid from Brooklyn who strives to be a righteous man. When we met Iron Man, we see a billionaire playboy who is just as flawed as any real life billionaire playboy. When we met Thor, we saw a prince/god that was stuck in his mold of arrogance until he eventually matured. When we meet Peter Quill, we fall in love with him because of his irresistible drive towards '70s hits. When we meet Scott Lang, we see a man who wants to escape his life as a convict to be with his daughter. In a nutshell, we love each of these characters for who THEY ARE, and our love for their powers is just the follow-up. These are the traits that make us care about them each, because when superhumans embrace their humanity before before their superiority, it allows them to feel grounded and larger-than-life at the same time. In the context of this whole franchise, then Thanos' stance on balance would be well justified. THIS IS THE BEST TYPE OF BALANCE THAT THE MCU HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL MAINTAIN!!!!!!!!!

Ok but MCU, dceu and Sony have IP to draw from. How would a studio even build an original cinematic universe from scratch

I have created my own superhero universe but I want a name to that universe

Long story short, focus on that one story as if it was the only story that will be told. There’s even an author named Brandon Sanderson who decided to make stand-alone novels while connecting them through a hidden universe. You need to put the characters and story first cause in the long term, that’s all that’s matter.

I always have this idea of a cinematic universe loosely based on the game LEGO Dimensions with some original characters

I have two cinematic universe ideas. I think one of them might just be better off as a book but the other is a war story and is honestly just more of a shared universe.

The first one I am still currently writing but not in book form or movie form, it's a roleplay with a big world and a hero team of it's own called The Outcasts.

See this issue is what’s happened to the MCU the last couple years, however it’s good to hear from reports they’ll be changing that now.

We need a Nickelodeon Cinematic Universe with elements from Nickelodeon Cartoons (Even Glitch Techs), Movies (Rango, A Series Of Unfortunate Events) and acquired franchises (Transformers, Smurfs and TMNT). With the Syndacate and Nicktoons being two International Organizations enemies with each other. There is A LOT of mutant ooze in the universe like in a "Rango" scenario.
