I disagree that the offense underperformed last year. This narrative is built out of the desire for a high-passing high scoring offense. It ignores all the benefits of a possession-based run first offense. Even with all of that said they had the seventh ranked offense all year even when leaving lots of points on the field to ice games. And look at what the offense did during the playoffs, that sure didn't seem to be underperforming.

Did you see Jerry Jones acting in Landman? He'd have to play himself. Kelce would definitely play himself as well. 😂

I’m confused by Roob’s constant pessimism of Tyler Steen it took an unfortunately timed injury to give Mekhi Becton the job. He played well when he started, I think Steen wins the job early on in camp

They did Not Underachieve offensively….. that statement by roob is criminal. We had the perfect offense that hogged the ball and made it so the opponent had the ball once a quarter. Not much a team can do with 5-7 possessions for a full game

Hope Lamm makes the team hes a damn good tackle when hes healthy and hes had a nice career despite being undrafted. I think he will replace Fred Johnson. Watched him play in college when I was at app so im bias but hes a good guy and im rooting for him

Really liked the Eagles positions battle story line here! The RG position whomever gets the job will be tested (frequently..) by opposing defenses because Eagles have experienced, Pro-Bowl level players at every other position on the line 😏. The #2 CB battle as well should be an interesting competition with Quinyon & Cooper (who's not moving from the slot) locked down. Of players still on the sidelines looking to sign with a team (& Reuben mentioned..) is Justin Simmons. On a really young defense could see him as a good stabilizing factor & depth at the safely position is important.

I’m there. I would take Jalen over Lamar. Jalen plays his best games in the biggest moments, and Lamar is the opposite. What good is a high ceiling when you only see it against JV teams? He has looked better, so that may be unfair, but his track record means he is going to have to win before I believe.

The Eagles offense was perfectly bounced last year. I’ll explain where this dumb narrative is cooked up from that they “need a more balanced offense” and it’s real simple. These people that say this are not usually athletes and didn’t usually play sports, not always but that’s usually the case. They hear pundits talking about having a balanced offense. To them that means running and passing 50/50. That is pleasing to the eye. What they don’t understand is, having a balanced offense means running and passing the ball in a proportion that makes the offense the most efficient and effective. Last year the Birds ran/pass 60/40. So they ran it six out of 10 times and when you scored 95 points in the NFC championship game and the Super Bowl against the best teams in the league your offense is perfectly balanced.
