I don't know about this,  I have seen some women with some pretty big noses!  compared to some men LOL.   I don't agree with his theory about muscle mass and the oxygen bit for having a big nose.  I just think that as men and women go through puberty,   men in general are bigger than women,  even their faces a bigger so hence,  a man will have a bigger nose to match his face, compared to a woman.   ( because she is smaller)   also women are sooooo pre- occupied with their looks,  they want everything to be perfect,  hence,   the plastic surgeon!

If men developed bigger noses because of a greater oxygen demand, it was due to heavy demand placed upon men's aerobic systems at the time causing men to evolve to develop bigger noses.

that is why they have plastic surgeons.   Women have smaller noses in general compared to men because their facial features are smaller than a mans.  Also their faces and bone structure are smaller.   I look at it when you are a boy  before puberty, at maybe age 10-11,  the facial features are about the same size compared to an adult women.  But as the boy goes through puberty and becomes more manly,   his facial features get larger, his face expands.  Now if you were to compare him to an adult women,  you can see the face is bigger,  the nose is bigger, etc.   For Women,  when they go through puberty,  they don't get really that much bigger, or for muscle mass.  They get boobs, and their figures change to accomadate to having a child.  ( thier hips get wider for the baby to stay inside of them)
